Congratulations to St Evenage who were crowned as Champions and promoted to the Football League today, after a 2-0 win away at Kidderminster.
Looks like a tough play-off this season in the Conference with 4 ex-league clubs in Luton, Oxford Utd, Rushden & Diamonds and York City. It would be good to see ex-Saint Damian Batt gain promotion with Oxford but I can't see it happening though.

Since when do people who support St Albans congratulate Stevenage???
Wash your mouth out I hope they come straight back down with a record low points tally

I've got a feeling that Luton will end up in the Blue Square Premier for another season Webbo.

Really was disgusting to see Bovysaint. I wonder what the fall out will be over all of this. Interesting article on 'twoundredpercent' about the trouble in several of the big games this week - www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=5748Mentions Luton and Boreham Wood particularly.

It is easy to blame booze, lack of policing, people getting carried away etc. but at the end of the day the football clubs have to take some responsibility for who they actually let into their grounds. I've seen it in the past when idiots who have been ejected from a ground one week are let back in the following week!

Can't help but feel that they would be more palatable still if they dropped 'Stevenage' from their name too! ;D So, I guess this is to somehow mark the transition from being a non-League side to moving into a Football League era for their club? Does this mean that they will be adding the 'Borough' again once they get relegated this time next season! No images allowed -http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz40/Crouchaldinho_SACFC/laugh5.gif
