You are indeed correct yellowfox, it is Toomey that has gone off and not Martin. Apologies for that. First thirty minutes very nondescript by all accounts.

Briefly, Hayles dropped for Simon,Seeby dropped,Danny Gordon switching to right back (steady performance),Watts left back,Chris Henry in wide left, although he and Sean switched several times in the first half. Redditch were definitely the poorest team we have faced all season. A poor quality first half with virtually no chances at either end. Juppy pushed one low shot away for a corner that might have been going wide anyway.Simon had twenty-five yard bobbler straight at their goalie early on,then Curtis hit the bar with a header but was penalised for pushing, they just punted long balls through to Juppy. Ten mins into second half their left back (first game back from suspension) red carded for shocking lunge on Danny Gordon, and from that point we got on top. Left wing corner from Sean,Hayles seemed to block a goal bound header then tapped it in from a yard out.Late on Simon chased down a long ball, goalie miss kicks,Hayles controls and advances before slotting home. Small point Hayles did not celebrate either of his goals,,perhaps he had the needle about being dropped or maybe because of the flack he got from a couple of our fans at Totton, who knows ! Overall we were the better team and deserved to win,and we defended better than of late, thought Gray had his best game for a while, but we will not play teams as weak as Redditch every week.

Good to get back to winning ways, It wasnt one of our best performances but we had enough to beat a weak Redditch team on a shocking surface, We defened well much more of a unit! Bad news about Lewis Toomey could be out for a couple of weeks i think DH will need to bring another striker in!

They're a bunch of jokers....
Redditch United’s losing streak has now been extended to three games after losing 2-0 to North London side St Albans City at the Valley Stadium. Asa Charlton’s 2nd half straight red gave St Albans an advantage. Substitute and ex-Fulham legend Barry Hayles benefited from two goalkeeping errors to score a brace and ensure his team travel back to North London tonight with the three points.

its catching... Late Night Tales reaches the big 3 – 0 and what a way to celebrate, with a landmark edition from the effervescent Friendly Fires. Formed in 2006 in the London suburb of St Albans, Friendly Fires trio Ed MacFarlane, Edd Gibson and Jack Savidge recorded their 2008 self-titled debut album in Ed’s parent garage. In view of its DIYconception it made a serious impact, selling over 200,000 copies and picking up a fistful of Brit Award and Mercury nominations along the way. Released in summer 2011, the band’s Aldous Huxley referencing second album ‘Pala’ further investigated the band’s love of artists like Talking Heads, Timbaland and Scritti Politti but also of the genius techno of Carl Craig and Boards of Canada. So, there we have the perfect prescription of head, heart and footwork that defines ideal participants for constructing Late Night Tales..... latenighttales.co.uk/product.php/184/friendly-fires-late-night-tales
