Cambridge best Bashley 6-0 tonight, and move two points behind us. However, they have now caught up on games played.

They now have a better goal difference then us so we can't afford to drop any points in the rest of the season.

At this point of the season, it's all about points on the board, and at the moment, that's exactly what we have.

He does take back the comments-sort of-in a later post. But have to agree with the comment on Hungerford-how are they surviving on crowds of 100 (Hi206 lo62 av114)? Still, it is on the park performances and points that count and they were too good for us at theirs. Everyone now has to win all their games which of course cant happen. just make sure we win ours. Must win against Poole as GD can still affect positions. COYS

Yes Poole do have some funny fans.
Their ground is a joke and they wouldn't be allowed up anyway.
So their players are only playing for pride.
They have had a backlog of games lately and will be run down.
Hoping we will put a few past them to up our GD.

Well, if we win all three games we'll finish in the top five. But there's no guarantees of that, so we need Poole and Hungerford to drop a few points this week. Being realistic, perhaps only Poole will drop points from their midweek fixtures (v Chesham).
In fact, Chesham could do us a big favour by beating Poole and then beating Stourbridge on Saturday. Poole play Cambridge City on Saturday and Hungerford host Hemel.
So, if we win at Banbury, things could look an awful lot healthier on Saturday night, meaning a win against Biggleswade on Monday might do the job.
As for the play-offs... it's hard to know what to hope for. We're no longer favourites for third place so it could be an away tie in the semi-final. Not sure I'd fancy Chesham away, or Hungerford. In fact, nothing looks easy!

From here on in it is all up for grabs. Any team dropping points can look out of it. Chesham and Hungerford are both due for a reverse as the only sure thing about an unbeaten run is that it will end sometime.
So stock up on the Gaviscon and Grouse and move any breakable objects until May.

I don't think it matters if we finish 3rd or 5th, the simple fact of the matter is we've played well once (H v Weymouth) since that fantastic performance at home to Bideford, the fact we were 2nd around that point and now sit many points off 2nd and could potentially finish 5th says a lot about the form. Basically I can't see us winning them
I think the cup runs have somewhat masked this season Played well Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan and not so well Aug, Sep, Feb, March and now April

Poole are now 1-0 up after 52 mins through Elliott. According to Hot Radio 102.8, who have the match on live, Hitchin are resting 7 first team players tonight ahead of their Herts Charity Cup Final this Thursday evening. Wonderful.
