Anyone know if there's any truth in the rumour we've got a pre-season friendly against Dagenham & Redbridge?
Other clubs at our level have announced their friendlies. Are we waiting until the full line-up can be revealed? A Premier League team (even if it's only an XI) or two would certainly help draw a crowd.

We're almost certainly waiting to announce the whole line-up of PSF fixtures at once, especially considering the date it is already.

Don't worry, I'm sure we'll have friendlies, I was just joking about how long it's taking to announce them.

We definitely will be having friendlies.
Be good to get a PL side down to CP.

No news on any pre-season games yet? Judging by previous years, there's only four weeks to go until pre-season games get underway.

Nope, no news, I've heard that minor details are yet to be finalised, but it shouldn't be long now.

Thought someone a bit more glamorous than D & R and Stevenage would be at CP .

I get the impression the management wanted matches at home which are 'relatively' winnable, and also wont result in silly scorelines against us?
A Stevenage First XI (Already mentioned on their site) will bring in a healthy crowd if it is publicised well.

Thought someone a bit more glamorous than D & R and Stevenage would be at CP . That is a lot easier said than done, nowadays, yellowarmy. The days of getting the full Arsenal 1st team down to CP are long gone.

Agreed Boomer. Premiership and Championship clubs are only interested in promoting their "brand" around the globe. So end up going on pre-season tours. They don't give a damn about clubs further down the pyramid and it all stems from greed which the F.A. won't do anything about!!

Totally agree Minty.

I see Stevenage are playing West Ham and Reading pre season and would have had Watford but cancelled due to Cup draw, but i'm sure D&R and Stevenage will be good games with bumper crowds...

Those days left with Spurs reserves and Arsenal ladies, didn't they?
Shame though. Watford kids were always good fun.

None of the home friendlies are 3pm kick offs... Has that happened before? (To be honest I can't even remember the season just gone's friendlies, so it may well have done!)

Speaking as a concession, sounds very reasonable to me. That's in terms of pre-season prices, will leave it up to season-ticket holders to judge the compensation re Salisbury's expulsion.

I'm guessing the Dagenham game is cheaper because were only playing 9 men
