Shouldn't he be Sammy the Roman Lion Saint?

Quite probably, Tudor... We must've felt that Sammy the Saint was a bit more snappy!

Suggestions on the number of weeks before the first letter is published in the Herts Advertiser complaining about encouraging children to play with knives (or swords!). I say next week.

Shouldn't he be Sammy the Roman Lion Saint? Sammy the Christian-Eater wasn't alliterative enough either...

Looks good. Hope it encourages the kids towards supporting the Saints. It could also be a bit of fun when we're playing our rivals - especially Woood!

Have we changed the City crest from a Saltire?

Have we changed the City crest from a Saltire? Does it really matter on a mascot's shield?

I think so. At least they got the colours right.

A bit of fun! Great. I expect he'll get a bit of stick - but he won't take it lion down!

Wonder if there are plans for a new updated crest... Funnily enough, was wondering that myself the other day. What would be the general feeling towards a revamp of the club's crest?

The clubs crest is brilliant and doesn't need changing
Hope they've done a CRB check on whoever is in that suit

I think that the person in suit may be a teacher in St Albans, so hopefully they'll pass it!

I doubt you need an actual CRB check to be a non-league mascot

Like it, but still think Clarence would have been a good name for a lion!

Like it, but still think Clarence would have been a good name for a lion! Only if he's cross eyed :-)
