Not sure if I being a bit blinkered here but all this talk of avoiding relegation will be a good season is Bo**ox. Starting from the back. Joe Welsh looked good and assured yesterday, we have 2 of the best fullbacks in the league in JK and Lee, Ben has done it all at this level, Coms and Sam will outplay most midfielders in this league, Danny is doing a great job in the Makele role and Frendo is lethal even at this level (ala Staines goal) so Im looking play offs!

Forgot to mention Wales' who has been brill since he joined us.
Callum Donnelly back at Hitchin and scored twice yesterday. Can we not sign him and send Pires in the opposite direction? The bloke is lazy!! He wont last long unless he shapes up!

Lets not get carried away.
Season still early.
If Borehamwood go up would be embarrassed for the Conference National. They have less fans than Gary Glitter!
Look a good outfit, but without a fan base seems bit ridiculous for them to be playing at such a level.
Looking at the support we had at Chesham shows what a following we have.

Lets just get enough points to survive in this league - anything else is a bonus.

COYS The support at Chesham doesn't really prove anything - how many of those 1500-2000 turned up at the Hayes and Yeading game? The floating supporter will attend the big games and thats about it (Mansfield). When we were back in the Conference (the real Conference, not this 'we are back playing Conference football' nonsense) early on we were averaging 1300-1500, when things wern't going our way through March and into April the average dropped to 800-900.

I had a look at the predicted final table for fun and it has Boringwood as Champions Hayes & Yeading second with 1 defeat, Bromley 5th with 12 defeats, Ebbsfleet 6th with no defeats and no goals conceded, Gosport 10th with 8 wins 34 draws and no defeats scoring 11 goals and not conceding, us 11th, Chelmsford and Bath relegated with no wins or goals. www.footballwebpages.co.uk/confsouth/league?sort=predicted

Check out some of the scores for that predicted table! Basingstoke will have two 10-0 away victories during the coming month.
It suggests that whoever wrote the software hasn't quite got it right!

It's pointless, if just works out averages based on current results so far, hence some teams having 0 points
