I couldn't believe it when I read Dave's match report and it said that Maidenhead had only won 1 of their last 10 (League games) especially as I had posted their recent home form of WWLWDL.
So I took a look at some of the stats on teams in our division.
Chelmsford City sit in 7th place in the league and are the second highest scorers behind the wood and yet they are the third worst defence behind Staines and Farnborough !
The Saints sit in 10th place having conceded the joint third most defeats.
Boringwood are top of the table and top of the home record's but are only the 8th best team on the road.
Bromley who are second are the best team on the road but only the 10th best at Home.
Wealdstone have drawn 11, Eastbourne 10 while Staines haven't drawn a game yet.

On attendances we also sit 10th but Whitehawk are bottom of that table, Boringwood are 4th from bottom whilst Ebbsfleet sit at the top followed by Bromley, Wealdstone and Chelmsford. After yesterday's game, I'd also like to see a table of worst pitches - Bromley and Maidenhead seem to be fighting hard currently to get to the top of that table!

I didn't read the NLP until today but there was a report in there about Paul 'Basher' Bastock playing his 1,000th game last Tuesday for St Neots @ Weymouth.
He posted on Facebook Wednesday night along with a picture of him his wife and a pint 'The love of my life after football, golf and beer and the kids, the wife and I are out celebrating 1,000 games and not out'.

Think I predicted 14th at the start of the season. If we finished in that position on our first season back, I certa wouldn't be unhappy.

I'd simply hoped for 50 points ie enough to keep us safely in this league. I think we can make that total although we have 3 difficult games coming, it is the run of games starting with Wealdstone where I would expect us to get a decent points total

As comments are being made about our disciplinary record with Corcoran's latest booking.
Us and Maidenhead have received the most red cards in the league with 6
Sutton and Eastbourne have the most bookings with 62 yellows apiece, Maidenhead have 60 we have 59.

Even though our form has been very poor of late we are 5th in home form over the last six matches.
20th in away form for the last six mind.

That away form stat concerned me with the upcoming visit to Gosport (booked the coach as treat for my son who is very, very excited - counting down the days/hours as though it's Christmas...!) but then again we seem to like away trips to Hampshire this season with 2 wins (Basingstoke and Farnborough) and 1 draw (Havant) so far.

I know there a lot of criticisms of how many players we have used this year but it is worth looking at other teams as you do find they have used as many or more - and loan signings are increasingly common place at this level and above

So we go to the end of season with no losses in Hampshire. Am I right in also thinking that, so far, there are only four teams we have not taken points from - Wood, Sutton, Ebbsfleet and Hayes & Yeading - and we still have opportunities to take points from the last two. Interesting looking at the current form guide (http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/confsouth/form) as we are now 7th in that table and Weston-super-Mare are second from bottom. I seem to remember that - before we played WSM - we were second from bottom and they were at or near the top of the table!

Which we did not too shabby was it The Saints with their last 4 games sit top of the form table over that period above the only other team to win their last 4 Whitehawk by a +1 better goal difference
