According to the F. A. suspension list, Havant & W will also have 2 out tomorrow night - defender Josh Huggins and midfielder Nic Ciardini.

This is an excellent result for Saints. Another 3 wins and I reckon we'll be safe - especially as Farnborough lost last night and Staines lost tonight.

A tremendous battling effort by the whole side away at the team 5th in the league. We probably shaded the 1st half and had two good chances to go ahead. For lengthy periods in the 2nd half, Havant were in control and put us under considerable pressure but were unable to break us down, although they did hit a post late on. Omar Beckles and Ian Gayle were colossal tonight and also a great performance from Jamal Lowe.
COYS!

This is an excellent result for Saints. Another 3 wins and I reckon we'll be safe - especially as Farnborough lost last night and Staines lost tonight. I think you're right, the bottom four or five aren't in good form at all, which is probably why they are down there. If we take the average points per game total for all clubs over the past 6 matches ( www.footballwebpages.co.uk/confsouth/form ), multiply by the number of games remaining for each club and add to the current points total, you get a very interesting end of season table: Curr Pos | Team | Played | Curr Pts | Pts to come | Final pts | Fin Pos | 2 | Bromley | 26 | 52 | 23 | 75 | 1 | 9 | Hemel Hempstead Town | 26 | 42 | 30 | 72 | 2 | 4 | Basingstoke Town | 26 | 48 | 23 | 71 | 3 | 3 | Whitehawk | 29 | 49 | 22 | 71 | 4 | 1 | Boreham Wood | 29 | 54 | 17 | 71 | 5 | 10 | Concord Rangers | 26 | 40 | 30 | 70 | 6 | 12 | Bath City | 25 | 37 | 33 | 70 | 7 | 5 | Havant & Waterlooville | 28 | 47 | 16 | 63 | 8 | 6 | Chelmsford City | 29 | 45 | 17 | 62 | 9 | 13 | Sutton United | 27 | 37 | 24 | 61 | 10 | 8 | Ebbsfleet United | 27 | 42 | 15 | 57 | 11 | 16 | Weston-super-Mare | 26 | 31 | 23 | 54 | 12 | 15 | Wealdstone | 28 | 35 | 18 | 53 | 13 | 7 | Gosport Borough | 27 | 42 | 11 | 53 | 14 | 11 | Eastbourne Borough | 29 | 38 | 15 | 53 | 15 | 14 | St Albans City | 29 | 37 | 15 | 52 | 16 | 17 | Maidenhead United | 26 | 30 | 9 | 39 | 17 | 19 | Bishop's Stortford | 26 | 25 | 9 | 34 | 18 | 18 | Hayes & Yeading United | 28 | 27 | 4 | 31 | 19 | 20 | Farnborough | 26 | 23 | 7 | 30 | 20 | 21 | Staines Town | 27 | 15 | 7 | 22 | 21 |
Hemel in the play-offs and the bottom four ending with fewer points than we already have. Of course, I could run this again in three weeks and get a completely different outcome because there's no guarantee that any of the teams will end the season at exactly the same form as the past six matches. However, it does imply that 45 points is more than enough for safety and three more wins will give us that. Crack open the champagne BOB Sherunkel!

A terrible drop in standards on the part of footballwebpages there: back at the beginning of the season their predicted end of season table was based on score forecasts that included some 11-0 games (one involving Hemel! ) whereas now you have to get to the penultimate Saturday of the season before they'll give anyone as many as three goals. Dull, lifeless football even exists in the imagination of the footballwebpages stattos. Come on, FWP, give us at least one thumping for somebody!
