.................................. We've currently got a relatively small number of supporters contributing anything from £5 to £100 per month. I'd love to see that grow - but it's a personal choice. Unfortunately for the scheme it is a bit of a chicken/egg situation. People are more likely to contribute to a successful team. A successful team is more likely if more funds are available. Having contributed a tenner (Theo's left big toenail?)at the beginning of the scheme I am disappointed by the start City have had to the season. From the reports on this forum the players have some talent, however it obvious something is not quite working. Even against sides nearer to the top of the table we should have earned some more draws à la the Gosport game. I fear that if things continue as they are in September any remaining optimism will evaporate.

I think that Margate away is the critical game, as they are having the same sort of start to us. Quite a few new players, can't score a goal anyhow and players are just not delivering. If we can't win that game, we are in serious trouble.
Hope we beat Hemel tomorrow to turn things around though !
