I know turnover at this level is generally high but for us this season it has been ridiculous and counterproductive. Also there must be something wrong with our system if we keep bring in players who we then decide a few weeks later are not good enough. When Gray talks about confidence how does it help if a player knows a couple of bad games and he is released? I totally agree, Bob. I've also wondered who scouted the players who have come in this season. Notwithstanding the ones who have left, how is it that so many of the new faces have failed to shine as expected? While I accept that some players play better in one system than another, one would expect those differences to be noticed and taken into consideration when signing them. I'll admit that I know very little of non-league procedures so if the recruitment process isn't that detailed than my expectations are clearly too high. What does seem to be the case is that we have a team of any eleven players from a squad of around twenty who are regularly failing to perform as the management expects them to. There's a communication breakdown somewhere, I hope its found quickly and mended.

I wasn't at the game so cant comment on the actual match. However I believe that the score says it all. Several comment from fans on this site confuse me. Do some of you genuinely believe that we have " the quality" in the squad? Based on what? Results? Performances? The season is well on and we have used a gazillion players. Every week. In . Out. Shake it all about. And we have needed wingers all season. I agree. Ever since we got rid of the ones we had. Ive said this before but will repeat. About 3 weeks before start of season we looked ok with a squad that many ( including some with influence) thought would get us off to a good settled start. Then we had a squad clearout1 about a week before first game. The point I am trying to ,make is this. Who is making the decisions? Who is bringing players in, shipping them out? Responsibility? Nothing less than a convincing victory and good performance will do on Saturday. It will at least put some money in the bank. We are playing a team divisions below us and in relegation spot. Mind you, cant see Petersfield being too frightened of us as we too are in relegation form and they have at least beaten higher division teams in previous round. Potential banana skin. I hope not. COYS.

The interview seems to shut off at about 2:20 and go back to the beginning as if on a loop. the whole site is a bit broken at the moment... why are there are 3 interviews on the page? - a blurred video? a map the size of Everest? Stats that don't mean anything? The front page has a massive image of a head and something else... if it ain't broke don't fix it

What I don't understand is how we can be caught on the break playing 4-1-3-2?! I wasn't there so I couldn't see for myself, but I can only presume that to be caught on the break the 1 wasn't playing in a protective position. Even with the full-backs attacking, there should have been three defending at any point. I can understand us being over-run in midfield playing two up front, but to be caught on the break with effectively a five-man defence? That doesn't make sense to me. I'd agree with Jimmy - we can't play 2 up front away from home!

One more question about the interview - I was surprised by the comments about Sam Corcoran. How much does an operation cost, or rather how much funding was the club looking for and how public was any appeal? Is this something that Boost The Budget could have helped with as an operation to bring Corcs back to the team surely fits the requirements of "additional funds to strengthen the squad". Not a dig at anyone, just genuinely interested about the size of cash needed for something like this. I'm sure the refs are missing him as much as we are!

Regarding interviews, based on useful feedback from some supporters we are moving the interviews to Podomatic - in the same way really that videos are hosted on YouTube rather than stored on the club website. The issues we had were that interviews played perfectly on some devices but had some issues on other devices. But the best option is to use a platform dedicated to audio that addresses those problems but adds additional features such as being able to easily download interviews and also to subscribe to them on iTunes.
yellowalf - Whitehawk had players up front with terrific pace (especially Deering) who capitalised immediately on defenders/holding midfielders getting out of position and/or losing possession. Add some clinical finishing and you end up with 6 goals against...

But the best option is to use a platform dedicated to audio that addresses those problems but adds additional features such as being able to easily download interviews and also to subscribe to them on iTunes. ... Not everyone has been brainwashed into thinking Apple products are the only product that works. Videos are better hosted on YouTube due to the bandwidth they consume. Audio files should not need any external hosting nor any 'specialist' app/software to play. An MP3 file with the correct bit rate should play on virtually any phone / tablet / computer these days without any issues.

I've never seen anything to say the website was being redesigned and asking for supporters feedback. First the majority of supporters knew about it was when they logged on to the site.

Interviews were working fine for me as I don't use Apple products - but it was Apple devices that sometimes had problems, usually when the mp3 file was large (and they do over time taken up a fair amount of storage space). The website - as with most sites - is a work in progress. You can end up having endless consultations and incorporate everyone's opinions and build a mess that pleases noone. Or consider general observations and focus on some key objectives (useable on mobile phones, online shop, consideration for first time visitors etc). It's an old one but if Henry Ford had just listened to what everyone wanted he would have bred faster horses and not produced the car... Websites also always divide opinions...

build a mess that pleases noone The previous version worked fine on my phone. Couldn't an online shop be added to www.sacfc.co.uk? I'm fairly sure first time visitors found it easier to navigate or understand the site in its previous format too - didn't it win non-league website of the year a couple of years ago?

It's an old one but if Henry Ford had just listened to what everyone wanted he would have bred faster horses and not produced the car... Websites also always divide opinions... I think the analogy should be along the lines that Henry Ford wouldn't have taken your old car away without your knowledge and replaced it with one that didn't go as fast, or as far! The old site worked perfectly well, the new one doesn't. I really don't understand why the new one wasn't released in beta form to run alongside the old one so that users could decide which one they wanted to use and improvements could be made on the new one subject to user feedback without negatively impacting on the user experience of the old one. I've stopped using the website now, after all what information is on there that I can't find elsewhere, conversely there is a lot of information that I can find elsewhere that I can't find on the website. It may be on there, but I can't find it.
