The draw for the First Round will take place at 7pm on Monday 26th October, live on BBC Two.
The Saints will be ball number 80. The last number.
So, who do we want then?!

Sheffield United, Doncaster Rovers or York City away would do me, being based up in Leeds and all that.
Though I wouldn't say no to being offered a team like Didcot at home, to try and progress even further.

BT Sport are showing Grimsby Town v Cheltenham Town on Friday night. Will give the management team an opportunity to scout the opposition.
Just to clarify Blundell Park is actually in Cleethorpes, not Grimsby ;-)

its unlikely to be winnable by us It may not be winnable but it could have been a lot worse. By my quick glance three are 21 clubs in Leagues 1 and 2 with a lower average attendance and I believe we can grab a draw there. So we're not going to get two easy wins and Arsenal at home, however we could just as easily have been away to Accrington Stanley and got nothing at all from this game. The downside is that there is only the one game, the top of the table clash this Friday evening as casper says, for the management to get to see them in the flesh so I hope they have no other plans for Friday afternoon/evening. Lovely drive up the A1...

Well, it may or may not be winnable but it could have been a lot worse. You never know – magic of the cup and all that.
Blundell Park is a great ground too – although it's all-seater these days.

Grimsby usually have attendances of about 4000 odd, but we are unlikely to draw a crowd that big, especially with the special counting that goes on at FA Cup ties. So, a very tough game to win, and not much of a crowd. Nevertheless there is something romantic about it. Blundell Park is right next to the North Sea. Waves crashing against the sea wall, as the plaintive cry of the seagull heralds the return of the herring fleet.
Chesham and Staines got good ties.

Channel 4 did a documentary on Grimsby called 'Skint.'
It looks like a Northern version of Hemel.
Should be able to get a pint for £2.

Just to clarify Blundell Park is actually in Cleethorpes, not Grimsby ;-) It gives you boys a chance of seeing first hand Grimsbys forward line that is very goal productive, thats an advantage for your club to do some forward planning

Darren Locke @lockey168 1h1 hour ago Well that draw was like waking up at xmas expecting a ps4 and getting a Super Nintendo ? Doesn't feel like fighting / cup-giant-killing talk to me?! Not the best draw but not the worst, was hoping we'd put our rubbish draw history behind us, now I'm hoping we'll put our lack of cup upsets history behind us, COYS
