If the Chesham management were in line for the job, it would've happened in the initial recruitment process, before the club were forced to look towards Wheeler.
We were just a few hours away from getting a new manager then.

It was interesting to see the Chesham management team at the game yesterday and in the bar afterwards. Potential new manager maybe? I think it is doubtful that the Chesham duo would come in for two reasons. Firstly their league form is pretty poor so far this season and secondly would a Manager who has been at a club for nigh on ten years and not once got them promoted be even in the running to manage a club at a higher level? More chance of Adam Lee coming onboard in some capacity as I spotted him giving Harry instructions/advice on substitutions and possibly game plan a few weeks back. On another issue, I understand that the exodus from the club continues with Mark Swales, the development coach/manager resigning with immediate effect throwing more speculation as to what exactly is going on behind the scenes at Clarence Park? |

I heard Swales resigned because he wanted the management job but didn't get an interview. Not sure how true that is.
