Bath fan here, we are doing a Pay What You Want game against you guys on Feb 20th if you want to factor that into your travel plans. A lot of footie under the bridge since we played you in the August sun, 2 wins in 16 league games since our 6 out of 6 start which was clearly a blip ! Need you guys to stay up to provide a local game for me and an excuse to get to the Mermaid ! Best wishes.

Can we play a pound for every goal we've ever scored there?

You must fancy your chances given our form, another loss today, could be a six pointer.

Final bump for this, safe travel to all going, a flavour of what we are offering off the pitch below:
This coming Saturday it is the annual Bath City FC Community Day when the Romans play St Albans City in a Vanarama National South League game at Twerton Park (3pm). This is a “Pay What You Want” fixture with 10% of the money taken on the gate being donated to Dorothy House Hospice Care – the charity that the club are supporting this season.
There will be live music before the game provided by New Orleans brass band Horning Glory, face painting by Hannah from fantasyfaces, so why not get your face painted up in Bath City colours, guess the number of balloons in the Domino’s Pizza Smart car with the nearest guess winning Pizzas, the opportunity to experience Subbuteo table football, Bladud the club’s mascot will be there plus see “walking football” for the over 55s, on the pitch at half-time. The team will be greeted with a guard of honour when they enter the pitch by a group that are involved in the Foundation football coaching scheme, led by former City favourite, Charlie Griffin.
Over 2000 tickets have been distributed to local schools and businesses. So, if you have a ticket, bring it along to the game, or get a ticket at the turnstiles. Then just PAY WHAT YOU WANT to watch the game. Fans will then keep the right hand section of ticket as it will be entered in to a free draw, with the winners being announced at half-time. Prizes include at least one shirt signed by the players from a Championship club, a football signed by the Bath City players, two match day tickets, a Bath City scarf and a meal voucher for the Bird In Hand, Saltford.
The club would like to thank a number of local businesses who have sponsored the Community Day – Anthem Publishing, Curo, Domino’s Pizza, Lidl, Moore Stephens, Sitec, Thrings Solicitors plus the Bath City FC Community Sports Foundation and a group of Bath City Exiles.
This is your chance to have an afternoon out and support YOUR local football club, so bring along family and friends to see this vital fixture against St Albans City and welcome back Gary Owers in his first home game in charge since being appointed manager for a second time.

Looking forward to it - our team now has real fight again and no doubt your own will be raring to perform for their new manager. Hopefully we will actually get a goal (or two) at Twerton Park for the first time since...
