Remember this is the scenario for City. If Margate lose & Hayes fail to win then a Saints victory means they are definitely safe.
Any other combination & we will have to wait until the last game of the year next Saturday against Dartford at Clarence Park.

OK so Truro will play a big part in determining our requirements for a result against Dartford.
Tue - Truro vs Whitehawk, with a Whitehawk win meaning Dartford can't make the playoffs.
Thu - Havant vs Truro As long as Havant lose or draw, we have to equal or better their result next Saturday.
Weston are now safe, so Havant are at home to them next Saturday.
It's going to be a nervous week ahead .....

So if Havant beat a Truro side playing its third game in a week on Thursday, it's out of our hands, and both Margate and Havant are against sides with nothing to play for Saturday, with wins for both putting us down. Looking decidedly more iffy than at 3pm today.

What is happening regarding the ineligible player Sutton used against us?

Truro vs Havant is so important. A Havant win, and it'll be out of our hands.
A win was the minimum needed today, and it sounds like we could've gone two or three up if we'd finished chances.

Nothing at all.
Today's results are not good for us at all. Even if we beat Dartford we can be relegated, so our fate is not actually in our own hands. I suppose local derbies against Kings Langley won't be so bad.

Was a tough game today. We started really well, however couldn't create too many chances to go with the goal. Wealdstone were very strong in the 2nd half & their finishing was pretty poor.
Thought that Ben Martin or Joe welch deserved MOM today.
In February if someone said we'd be in with a shout of staying up on the last day of the season, I wouldn't have believed them..... on to Saturday, genuinely a must win.....

I'd agree with Barringtongobi – we were dead and buried in February and it has taken an incredible run of results to get us into a position where there's a chance of survival on the last day of the season.
Whatever happens now, the manager, his staff and the players deserve a lot of credit for the run of results over the past two months that have given us hope.
The problem is that we were in such a predicament that we were always vulnerable to other teams improving too. And so it has turned out. Our run of 7 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats from the past ten games is remarkable, but other teams have picked up points as well.
It's particularly unfortunate that Havant & Waterlooville have the game in hand and so have matters in their own hands.
But we can do nothing about that, except hope the result on Thursday goes our way and that we can win on Saturday and complete The Great Escape.
As for the game, well, it's the first time I've managed to see us play since the corresponding game against Wealdstone in November. I know it was scrappy at times but I was impressed with what I saw. We were organised and committed. Players seemed to stick to their jobs well, rather than switch off or go missing or allow the game to pass us by, which happened all too often in the first part of the season.
We got off to a flyer and for the next 20-25 minutes we were completely dominant and perhaps should have added a second.
But Wealdstone can be a tough lot and they scrapped and fought to get back into it. Their goal was a bit of a mess from our point of view but they finished the half strongly and I was relieved to get to the break level.
I think Wealdstone were on top in the second half – not by much, and we certainly had our moments – but a draw was a fair result across the 90 minutes. There were good saves from Welch and North. Defences made minor mistakes that the forwards could not capitalise on. The midfield battle was intense and tempers flared at times.
I said to my Wealdstone-supporting pal before the game that I'd take a point but, of course, results elsewhere couldn't have been much worse for us.
At least Hayes and Yeading are more or less out of it, barring miracles, so it's one from three for the chop now. It's just that game in hand for Havant and the fact Margate have got what appears to be an easier final game than us that bothers me.
But Ian Allinson inspires confidence and if we are as organised and committed as we were today, we can beat Dartford. If not, no one can say they haven't given it a damn good try to get out of the pudding.
Having said that, I thought our other coach – not Harry Wheeler, the dark-haired chap – stepped well over the line in his criticism of the linesman in the second half. Okay, so the bloke was having a bit of a shocker but I'd have preferred to see our coach keep his cool and button his lip.
