Well, whatever is the case, if IA does meet the owners this week as he suggested he was going to do in that interview, l hope it has a positive outcome, that's all.

what has happened to James Sage. Clarence park is like a Chilean football stadium in the 70's. People turn up and are never seen again.

Yeah, what has happened to James Sage ? In my case of asking, l am just curious, as there hasn't been anything on the Clubs website about him ?

Believe he was released around the same time as Joseph in the couple of weeks after the Billericay game.

James Sage may not have been the answer for us, but as younger player he was rated highly at Peterborough and given a 2 year professional contract, subsequently released he was with Kettering for a while, a potentially and once bigger club than us and then he drifted a bit.
How are we " up in the world" when a player with ability like Ralston Gabriel leaves us to drop a division. How are we up in the world with a squad of 16, no youth or reserve set up and a ground we rent from the council ?
And.....I see that midfielder Matt Harriott has joined Hendon from Bedford Town. Why were we not interested in this player ? He is 26, local, and with football league experience at League 1 level and although he seems to have taken a break until recently a player of very good pedigree and ability who was apparently playing very well at Bedford.

Matty Harriott played a number of games for Wealdstone in the 2015/16 season but seems to have drifted a bit since then. Still only 26. Son of ex-Luton Town player Les Harriott, who played for them in the 80s.

Well, nearly a week on from last Saturdays draw with Wealdstone and no news yet of any signings or loans or whatever, coming in. IA says he is going to sit down with the owners, and most likely IA will bring up, hopefully, the issue of getting someone in due to the thinness of our squad due to injuries and Ralston leaving. Anybody thinking the same, what is happening on the New player front ? Well there is of course another week to go before we play again but ??

I hope the paperwork was completed before he was named on the bench last night
I also hope that this input from the Concord defensive coach (if that's what it is) is better than the rest of the input from the defensive coach so far

Anyway, whatever, we wish Jordan Sanderson well at the Club, and hope he can make an impact. So how many fit, available players does that make us have in the squad for Eastbourne ? I know I'm being lazy here and haven't bothered to work it out. I think we just have Sho-Silva and Bender out injured don't we ? I must admit, every time l think about Sho-Silva's absence, l can't help thinking that had he not got injured, how much he could've been an influence at the back for us. I thought he was beginning to look good for us. Still that's another matter

Josh Urquhart signs apperently very high rated according to Lee Allinson but do we really need another defender and who will he replace as I think he'll go straight into the starting line up tomorrow

We've signed Jordan Sanderson in midfield and Dave Diedhiou should be able to move to his normal midfield role, now the defence has reinforcements.
A striker is definitely required, as we need the goals to come from somewhere.

I don't remember Urquhart as being a stand-out player in his previous spell, even though it was a league below. I do remember his tackle at Arlesey though (ouch!!!)
