I'll be surprised if they are here next season with all that's gone on to be honest especially if they get more knock backs from the Council in the meantime regarding getting a new ground. They're not daft, they'll have seen the apathy around the place since they pushed up the prices, they know what's been going on, Lawrence has been coming up to the Clubhouse on home match days and then goes straight back down and has seen how empty is compared to how it used to be. Admittedly, some of this is due to us struggling in the League though, so depending on how it all goes for the rest of the season may determine what happens with the owners. It perhaps also depends on how determined they are to stay and get us a new ground etc ...

The small crowds are mostly self-inflicted, though. Poor team performances take a while to discourage people. The pricing turns people off straight away. The attempt to control who says what, how they say it and so on does not reflect well on the club either. People generally don't like to be told to stop complaining when their complain is legitimate.
I think they'd have had more success with the price rises if they'd been a bit more transparent about it and said: "Look, we're putting in X per year to give the manager the best possible squad we can, but we can't keep doing it alone. We need to put prices up to keep the team in the division."
Of course, the problem with that is that people would then ask whether the money the owners are putting in is in the form of loans, which changes things completely. Again, nothing against them wanting their money back but they are basically charging well over the market price for their product in an attempt to claw back their money.
And with attendances as they are, it's not working.
I wonder if there'll be a big turn-out from Wealdstone fans on Tuesday? I suspect they will hold their noses and pay the £18 but refuse to spend an additional penny once in the ground.

Well, of the away fans we have had so far, they are down (understandably) on what we could've normally expected so far, and that might arguably be because of the admission price now, but l think Wealdstone will bring a few still as will some of the bigger well supported Clubs. Maybe not as many as it would have been if it was cheaper to get in, but still a lot

I know it's the biggest issue at the club currently but will there be another fans forum w/LL mid season maybe December time to re-evaluate the situation or are the prices 100% locked in till next summer?

Lawrence said at the fans forum that the prices would be reviewed at the end of the season. I can't believe they wouldn't be reviewed earlier than that but then again nothing surprises me at the moment.

They are clearly reviewing them as they go along by adding in all these concession prices to lots of different sections of the community What they don't seem to want to do is just admit they are wrong

I bought my season ticket as full adult price and am not about to look to change it, but as someone who would now qualify as a concession surely this raises a bit of a question. Unless of course I missed this advertised at the start of the season when season ticket prices were announced, how can they charge people full price and then redefine what counts for a concession? Others are surely going to feel a little fleeced by having apparently paid full price unnecessarily?

Why are local authority workers entitled to a concession entry price?

It was *name removed* who came up with the pricing structure and used Leyton Orient / Fulham as a case study. He also assumed the crowds would stay the same year on year at the inflated price point. You know what they say .... when you assume you make an ass out of you and me. Absolutely incredible that two successful businessmen can make such catastrophic business decisions based on feedback from a volunteer who isn’t qualified enough to be advising on decisions like this..

If true, very embarrassing. The boycott is going strong.

I think its absolutely disgusting that the club still have not allowed the two banned supporters chance for reply.
I know one of the supporters has contacted the club numerous times and was told he'd get a phone call back.....only for no phone-call to come.
Absolutely disgraceful.

Has anything happened with that supporter who set up the abusive and insulting poll on that new twitter account?

Has anything happened with that supporter who set up the abusive and insulting poll on that new twitter account? Obviously not. Probably helps if you've got connections to the inner circle of spineless yes men, also it's obviously one rule for those who oppose the price rises, and another for the tiny minority who don't
