We need to play a darn sight better against Aveley than our 2nd half showing against Slough, Aveley look a decent side this season. Our record against sides towards the top of the table isn't good.... www.thelinnets.co.uk/leaguetable.php?s=&l=3&t=14

That invites the pressure on us, and Slough were always going to come out for that 2nd half all guns blazing, knowing they only had 45 mins to put things right. In my opinion we should've known that and come out in that 2nd half determined to put the game to bed, take the game to Slough, but we didn't and it nearly cost us. Slough saw this and were buoyed by their first goal, obviously credit to them for their workrate, but we nearly blew it. And Noble said in his post match interview that 2 nil is a dangerous scoreline, so God knows what the instructions were that he gave the players at half time ? Against Eastbourne at home we blew it in the 2nd half, from winning 2-1 to losing 3-2. I've seen this with us before thou, sometimes from the very 1st whistle. If we are fortunate to be in the position tomorrow of being 2 goals to the good at HT we'll need to be more aware than Tuesday nite, cos Aveley will be more than capable of turning it around
