Rumours flying around Sat night that Jeffers was following Nobby to Wealdstone, which I find hard to believe
Also, Francis-Clark was meant to be re-signing last week so hopefully this news hasn't put the dampners on that

I wouldn't be surprised if Jeffers went to Wealdstone, he's good enough to play at NL level

I guess we’ll probably never know. I don’t believe the bonuses stuff, so I think it was probably tactical or they had a falling out. Either way it’s no coincidence that since Jeffers was restored to the starting line up we’ve gone on a good run. However, as I said, apart from that I think he did a decent job and leaves us in a better position than when he took over. IF, and of course its a big IF, there was a contractual issue that was limiting Jeffers to his game time, I'm just wondering if with him now playing regularly, just like he should've been anyway prior to this, it doesn't matter now, whatever MAY have been the issue, Jeffers playing regularly is by-the-by now. Personally, whatever the issue, its great to see him starting regularly

Jeffers is on contract, why would he play for a manager that left him out, and played georgiou.?

No, l don't suppose he would want to play for a manager who leaves him out and plays someone else, IF that was just that, another player was actually favoured ahead of Jeffers

I think he might target Zane banton more than jeffers. Anyway he will have a difficult task at wealdstone, lose a few games and they willing be baying for his blood. Not the nicest supporters.

Zane has been with us so long now, I think if he wanted to go he would have by now

So David Noble clearly didn’t think Shaun Jeffers was good enough to start in the National South, how on earth can anyone believe DN would select him to start in the National League? Why would SJ follow a manager who clearly didn’t have any confidence in him?
Come on now.

I can't see noble targeting any of our players not sure they are good enough.

There are quite a few high profile managers out on the market now. Not sure I would go with any of them though and the club probably won't either.
Steve King Danny Bloor Alan Dowson Dennis Kutrieb Darren Sarll

Steve King Danny Bloor Alan Dowson Dennis Kutrieb Darren Sarll To be honest, all of them play direct, old fashioned football, other than Dennis. I’d rather get a manager who plays a similar style to Nobby, as the long direct ball game just doesn’t work anymore, 5 of the top 8 in our league all play a simmilar style to how Noble did, so we have to get a manager who is more modern

I wouldn't mind one of those out of work managers that Minty suggested, they might not actually play the way they are suggested to play, althou l know the old saying "a leopard never changes its spots", one of them if interviewed and appointed, might do it for us
At least they are relatively experienced, have been around the block a bit and have won things and got results at some point. Anyway, l'm not sure it matters anyway, they are all bound to come with conditions and demands that'll be too expensive for our owners

Give Jon meakes a chance, till the end of the season. He came across very well in his post match interview. No disrespect to Dave noble, but he put his point across better than Dave ever did.

To me, Nobby came across in his post match interviews as mostly relieved if we won or totally despondent if we lost, but either way short on words or lost, Jon Meakes did come across in his one and only interview so far, as positive and more talkative. Yeah, it might not be a bad thing to give Jon until the end of the Season, thus avoiding rush interviews and a rushed appointment, let's get this right

Also if Jon gets on well with players, there seems no reason to look for another manager, assuming that he is happy to continue as things are.

Jon is an old school gent.
I would see how the rest of the season goes, then see how things are in the summer.
