I am backing the manager to strengthen the squad this season because I saw an improving side last year after a very poor start. We can also look for a far better run in cup competitions with the better players that are at the club now. Come on everybody lets be very positive looking forward to the pre-season friendlies remembering it will also be a time for the management team to view some fringe players I expect.

It is still pre-season as I am about to leave home for our first home PSF.
Therefore , here's to a season of continued friendly atmosphere within the club, from top to bottom, that was established last season and was appreciated by all, including our visitors.
Cheers, DS

I hope the clock on this board is not on BST. 9 goals against in the first 14 minutes does not bode well. Even so does not look good. At least they are not flattering to deceive! Oh well, early days, I expect things will get better.

What was the score in the first hour then ?
Because if most of those goals came in that time it was pretty much against our starting eleven ! Unless the keeper is taking a lot of blame that doesn't bode well.

half time score was 1 - 6 ,probably 1 - 8 after an hour, but to be honest I was losing count, I'll bring my abacus next week.

Bakare still being in the country and not in the Swiss 3rd Div like he was meant to be could be good news for us, I don't think he'll make the grade at somewhere like Barnet so hopefully he'll come back to what/who he knows

Is it 19:30 kick-off tomorrow or 19:45?
Posters say 19:30 but website states 19:45.

JJ hit the post.
Couple of good efforts and chances for the Saints. Some good play.
Simon Martin was inches away from a ball played across goal.
In the end, full time score was 2-0 to Luton.

That was a much better result after the Barnet mauling.
Very pleased with the defending some great last ditch blocks didn't really carry much threat up front though apart from some good runs from Henry
