Out of interest, who do people think will make the final two play-off spots? And who do we think will win it?
Personally, I think Bath City will knock Woking out of the play-off positions.
It's going to be an interesting run-in. Lewes are fighting for their lives at the moment and won't make life easy for Bath in midweek. Meanwhile, Woking's last home game should be a bit of a formality against Weymouth. As for Bath versus us, I don't know quite what to predict. I'd like to think that we'll give Bath a game.
However, I still fancy Bath to make it at this stage. When they came to Clarence Park and beat us earlier in the season, I thought that they looked a really good outfit.
Out of the sides I've seen this season, Bath would have to be up there as one of the best. Also, they had that superb FA Cup run, which no doubt cost them some points in the league. On this rather tenuous basis, I'm backing them to get into the play-off spots in their last two games, and surprise everyone by winning it.
What do you think?

I think Bath are the least likely TBH, the big budgets of Chelmsford and Dover are my favourites although Braintree are renouned for that big/strong/solid look about them and they must be a very good shout
I'm going Braintree

I've just got a feeling for Bath City doing it EFMTFTV. I don't know why.
Anyway, tonight's results involving play-off contenders:
Maidenhead 2 Staines 1 FT Lewes 1 Bath 2 FT
That puts Staines out of it.
4 Bath City 71 5 Braintree Town 71 ------------------------------------ 6 Woking 69 7 Havant & Waterloo 68
Games left:
Bath City v St. Albans City Braintree Town v Newport County Woking v Weymouth Havant & W v Chelmsford
Bath need a point against us to get into the play-offs because their goal difference is far superior to Woking's. The same is true of Braintree.
Woking need to win their game and for Braintree or Bath to lose.
Havant & W need Bath and Braintree to lose, and Woking to draw, in order to stand a chance of making it.

I think Braintree will get the point they need against Newport to make the play offs, Bath will beat us and Dover & Chelmsford will both get at least a point to finish 3rd and 2nd respectively.
They're very hard to call i'll take Chelmsford to beat Braintree with Bath turning over Dover & Chelmsford to win the final

Puts our recent performances against Bath, Woking and Dover in perspective. We did well in all three of those games and probably deserved to get more out of them than we actually did. All credit to Steve Castle and the lads.

It's a question of who I dislike the least. Have never liked Woking and their coaching staff were fairly obnoxious at their recent visit to CP. Dover spent most of the recent game against us diving. Chelmsford is in Essex and they nicked Ben Martin of us. Bath is harmless enough and a nice place to visit. So I hope that Bath win.

Really solid result for Bath. The other tie is delicately poised though. Can't believe Mackie scored! I guess with that tenuous link, we all have to cheer Bath on in the play-offs.

.. but Bath City may well qualify as a 'Northern' club if they don't go up via the play-offs, which may be in our interest.

Bath to beat Woking in the final. You heard it here first, remember? Can't believe the Wood leading in the final. Imagine if they come up and finish above us next season.

Went to the match between The Wood and Kingstonian today. What a dire game it was. It only got remotely exciting when some thug from Borehamwood ran onto the pitch and appeared to headbut a Kingstonian player. Nothing changes!!

So who will win the play-off final tomorrow?
I still fancy Bath City to do it. Think it will be a tight game settled by one goal most likely.
Any predictions?

I see in todays NLP that Woking manager Graham Baker says he doesn't know if he will be staying if Woking are promoted because of planned budget cuts, he says that they already had a 50% cut this season and are looking to cut that by another 25% and is qouted as saying:
'To stay up ? That would be Paul Daniels at his very best!'
