That's not saying a lot though is it ! It isn't, no, but he's look good, has had a good first touch and has also done some defending on the left. Something we've missed. Now, whether the form lasts....

Bromley are a side who should be up near the top at the end of the season... A very good point.

Jimmy confirms that Coms picked up a back injury vs Ebbsfleet, but should be back for Saturdays game. Apart from Coms and Corcoran, there are no further injury worries in the squad at the moment.

After seeing the team line-up shortly before kick-off, and considering Bromley's early season results, I would definitely have taken a point beforehand. Having twice gone behind, a point feels even better value.
First, the line-up... Pretty ruthless from Gray and Golds to follow through on their threat to make changes, although Comley's absence appears to be because of injury. It was a big, strong-looking side, with Kaloczi, Pires and Mitchell adding a lot of height. Perhaps that's why most of our threat came from corners and long throws.
It was a good, battling performance and we deserved a point against a very good Bromley team. However, the lack of chances from open play, and the number of near-misses at the other end meant we always felt like we were scrapping to save a point rather than going all out to win. Having said that, Kaloczi had a very smart header cleared off the line and we did create chaos in their box a few times.
Interesting to see Frendo taking corners, presumably because Comley was missing. But I do think he'd be better in the box because he has got a good nose for a half-chance and can strike it very well.
It was a pity Sean Shields was dropped, although when he came on he looked like a little lost boy. They really struggled to get the ball to him and he looked frustrated. Often in football the result determines whether a selection or omission is a success or failure but I do wonder whether Shields might have caused the Bromley defence to think about something else other than the physical threat of Pires, Frendo and Mitchell had he come on a bit earlier.
We've stopped the rot, as Hatboy says, and three points on Saturday will make it a very good week and set us up for the big one (for me at least) - Wealdstone away.

Decent performance against a decent side. Crowd held up pretty well. I see Dulwich got 2,850 against Hampton on Saturday, that was a great effort.

Lucky to get the point they had three cleared of the line to our one. TBH I'm not complaining we needed a point to stop the rot and we did exactly that. I'm not entirely sure why we struggled so much at set piece tonight when we have Martin, Ward, Kalozci, Big Geoff, Loic and Frendo all well over 6ft. Clarkie isn't exactly short either. However, fortunatley they couldn't defend set pieces for toffee either. Massively Missing Corkers and Coms in the middle when they return we will start to control the Midfield again. Loic played better and helped out defensively, Geoff is a handful and when fully fit will be such an asset and for a big man he has a bit of pace about him. Got some power on him, that shot that hit the bar had some serious tekkers. Onwards and upwards Saturday.

Good performance that definitely deserved a point. V. good support in the second half from the fans when it looked like we could have snatched 3 points. Bromley will be up there challenging this season so a draw after going behind twice is a very good result. Well in lads!

Wasn't there but an encouraging point. Glad Clarke and Pires started, those 2 are proven players at this level.
Saint, not sure where you've got the idea from that Dulwich Hamlet have "always had a decent support". That's exactly what Dulwich haven't had and in recent years their crowds have gone from barely 200 to over 600, an increase of 300%. I understand this haas been due to a range of great local initiatives.

Well quite a different outcome from what you predicted Saint.
0-2 to England hardly shows the Swiss putting England to the sword lol.
I can get some pie sent over to you at the next match.
