4th Round Qualifying draw live on talkSPORT 1053/1089AM at 10:30 am tomorrow morning with Colin Murray.
Any of these please -
Chesham Utd Didcot Town Staines Town EnfieldTown/Hitchin Town Grays Athletic Hoddesdon Town/Brentwood Town Weston-super-Mare AFC Hornchurch
On my reckoning, there should be 38 teams total in our section of the draw, therefore a 29/8 shot.
COYS!

Have a nagging feeling that we might get drawn against a fairly decent/good team. Hopefully my suspicions are proven wrong!

From a selfish point of view I would prefer Hitchin away. However since Hitchin have a pretty good record in the cup, maybe any of the others mentioned above (at home) might be better a bet.

And the game selected by Colin Murray on Talksport as the one he'll go to, on account of it being last out of the bag. Winnable at least.

Weston have been improving recently but definitely winnable (in fact a "should win" game for us....)

A home tie is definitely a good thing but WsM shouldn't be taken lightly. They reached round one last year, I think. Weren't they scheduled to be a live game only for a downpour on the morning of the game to cause a postponement?
We have a good chance of making round one – and considering I can't make the 4Q round draw because of other commitments, a better than even chance!

I have a feeling that if the Saints don`t pull their socks up, they could be on a banana skin. They need to get some better results soon..!!!. Maybe Mansfield Town again.....--->>> ?IF THEY WIN

Not sure if losing to a team in our own division would be a banana skin!
But, it could certainly have been worse draw. Am sure the managers will get the player's ready for it.

Let's hope the players are up for it (and available to play) this year. Concord last season was one of the most depressing days I've had at Clarence Park.

My dear friend AppySaint,I know that you are an eternal optimist, but to call this a 'should win' game is stretching it even for you. Weston's three one victory at Wingate in the last round is highly creditable, and they have improved in the league after a woeful start. We on the other hand have scrambled past two step five teams, and apart from the Hemel game haven't played well all season. I presume Ben Martin will be suspended for this game also. I know we could have had an even harder draw, but right now I am extremely apprehensive.

I have to say that when there were still 14 teams to come out of the bag (including 6 from the National Conference), I was seriously concerned who we were going to get. In the end, Lady Luck was more than a little kind to us. An excellent draw and at home but certainly not a gimme.

Thanks yorkroader for my description - made me chuckle! Of course 'should win' can be quite a broad term but a home game against a team 2nd from bottom (although on a decent run) should be a game we have to be thinking we should/can win... I'd actually prefer a team in the lower end of our own league than a well performing team at the top end of a division below who are looking for a giant-killing scalp

Good draw for the club and hopefully with some sensible pricing we can get a decent crowd.
This could potentially be a massive game for us and should we win, it may well kick start our season (although I'm sure WSM are thinking the exact same).

Draw could have been much worse. Margate drew Forest Green Rovers who are top of Conf National.
No it will not be an easy tie and we must not be complacent.
Don't expect many away supporters though.

The important thing is, the income from winning the 4th round is quite lucrative to teams like the Saints.. Then a possible clash against a good league side would really swell the coffers. Also the press coverage would help to increase further supporters for the future...?
Cheers!

Get through to the first round proper and draw a league team at home, there is the possibility of TV coverage and associated fees swelling the coffers.

I know the money is important but I think the potential confidence the team can gain from a good run is just as important. Thinking back to the promotion season of 2013-14 we were just sitting in mid table before we started enjoyiong cup success- cup success feed into a improvement in league form. I think both clubs (St Albans and WSM) might regard it as winnable tie, for me its a 50/50 tie. If we could win it might do the players confidence a bit of good- in a way that beating Deal or Petersfield will not. On a slight negative note that a rekatively winnable home league game on the 24th postposted it would be a shock if we got anything at Maidstone so it looks like a bit a wait for out next league points. Personally, happy with got a team at our level as I can accept paying £15 if neccessary- I did go to Deal because of the price but felt weird being free on Saturday afternoon when St Albans were at home and not being there.

Confidence from winning and increased prize money go hand in hand.

After Harlow Town's great win away at Bath City in their replay tonight, only 11 National League South teams are now left in the F.A. Cup.

WSM a good draw and at home. We may get extra coverage from TALKSH**E as we were last game drawn. ( Colin Murray seemed ecstatic at the prospect of a visit to The Park). Brilliant win for Harlow away just as a reminder[-anyone can beat anyone). However this is a great oppo to get to next round and the chance of a good draw. Surely the players will be well up for it? COYS. Sad to see now managerless Woood lose again... Not! However, a few managers will be looking over their shoulder with a Conf manager now available....locally.

On a slight negative note that a relatively winnable home league game on the 24th postponed ... Out of interest, has the Gosport game got a re-arranged date yet? I presume not as there's nothing on Twitter or the official site, still worth a question here though!

Not to my knowledge - it will be down to the two clubs to agree a new date (Gosport were knocked out of the FA Cup last night by Whitehawk so will have more availability currently than we do...)
