This is just a one off notsorecentconvert, SBYS & the trust wanted the club to charge £10 but they choose to charge £15 it is still cheaper for Proffesional clubs season ticket holders £11 I believe and all the bits being put on have been arranged by SBYS not the club !

One thing that gets me, as well as the adult price, is the cost for Juniors. I don't know many 12-16 year olds that earn enough money to pay £8 (£6 in advance) per game £6.20 in advance - whoever does the online ticket prices forgot to take 20p off to cover the cost of the booking fee Couldn't make it up

It's fine if it's on non-league day. It's absolutely moronic that instead it's on all season

In light of the annivesrary of Lord Lippiatt's passing I thought it would be a good idea to post a just giving page for someone I know who is raising money for Pancreatic Cancer www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sians-skydiveIf your like me boycotting home games you could do a lot worse than donating your £18 to this good cause.

To go back to the conversation on the previous page about the money the owners put in as loans and how they'd recoup it if they walked away If you were at the fans forum you'll remember LL said they would simply write it off as a tax loss
The club has no assets really, which is why we are still where we are after the reigns of Tomiley, Harding and Gibson, had we owned our own ground on prime real estate land we'd all be watching AFC St Albans groundsharing at London Colney in the South Midlands League, at least it would be cheap to get in

Do we need a Danny Hunter? What could he do that would help? Genuine question I'm sure he's a clown but he seems to have tried to do the best he can with the limited options at his disposal... it's not like he's upped B Wood and sold the ground or anything. Academy on the go, Arsenal involved and helping with a lot of stadium redevelopment things, all with a meagre fanbase and without putting the ticket prices up to 20% more than anyone else in the league He also suggested we hold on to Junior Morias until the end of the season He's bananas and I don't really know much about them but from the I'm looking from the outside. Seems like the current owners are in the 'find a housebuilder, build a new stadium, reap the profits' category like the chap before them, and the chap before him, and the chap before him etc

Burton v Leicester tonight £18 standing £22 seating. Leicester will probably field a strong team. Does anyone remember when we played Burton in the league.

www.stalbanscityfc.com/herts-senior-cup-5-november-2019/Tagged onto the end of the Senior Cup announcement is the following: The club has recently established a forum, made up of representatives of supporters, owners, staff, volunteers and the manager, to meet on a quarterly basis to steer further initiatives, drive the club forward and review progress throughout the year. Members of the forum have reviewed the existing concessions and agreed that the concession prices will be available for the rest of the season to the following groups: Over 65s Unemployed (JSA) and recipients of Personal Independence Payments (PIPs) NHS and Blue Light Services’ staff Serving members of the Armed Forces Season Ticket Holders from Watford, Luton Town & Stevenage This is what the concessions were before : Matchday concessions for league games include Seniors aged 65 and over Under 21s Unemployed (JSA recipients) Personal Indépendance Payments recipients NHS Staff Blue Light Services Serving Members of the Armed Forces Local Authority Workers Season Ticket Holders from Premiership or EFL Clubs Is this forum made up of the 'Yes men' surrounding the owners? Clearly income must have deceased if the number of concessions have reduced.

Does anyone know who the “supporters” on the forum are? I wouldn’t want to sound cynical (!) but I don’t remember the club asking for volunteers? Shame, I would have liked to attend. Since the owners haven’t bothered to reply to any of the three letters I’ve sent them it would be nice to talk to them face to face.

We seem to change our definition of who is and is not a concession every couple of weeks, shambolic. One argument I sometimes here is that it be difficult for owners to lower process mid season but why as they can consistently redefine who is/is not a concession?

The ticketing fiasco will sadly be the defining issue of the 2019/20 season.

I just listened to the latest Saints podcast, which is a very good listen if you haven’t done so already. I couldn’t help but realise the inaccuracies stated by the guest who appeared on this episode. He stated that instead of boycotting home games we should be seeking constructive discussions with the owners.
From my own personal experience and the posts I’ve seen on this forum I can tell you that myself and many others have made attempts to contact the owners with letters and emails, all of which have been completely ignored. What other way can we express our displeasure other than staying away from home games? If anyone can enlighten me then I’m all ears.

Presumably we can ask the members of the 'new' fans forum any questions and they will then pass those on to the Club !!

Presumably we can ask the members of the 'new' fans forum any questions and they will then pass those on to the Club !! Well l don't know about anyone else, but l'd like to think that if this is ever going to work properly, we'd all need to know exactly everything there is to know about this system, including who those members of the fans forum are. I hope this fans forum thing does work though, but perhaps we need to know more about it and who is actually involved, so we know who to direct our Questions through.

You’re quite right largerman. If there are supporters on the forum they should hold an open meeting where we can express our views. That way they’ll truly represent all supporters and all opinions.

Feel sad and angry that it's got to a point that the Owners/Club Officials will now only speak to the supporters through their own self appointed forum. The Club has lost the plot completely !!

That sums it up nicely. I’m not at all surprised to discover that I’m not alone in having my letters to the owners ignored and not replied to. The owners have adopted a seige mentality and clearly don’t care what the supporters think (unless they agree with them, of course).
I chose to renew my season ticket in the summer and will continue to attend for the rest of this season. However, next season ........ ?

As far as non-league day is concerned I have been informed that both supporters groups came together and put forward a proposal of £10 advance and £12 on the gate. This proposal was knocked back by the owners. Supporters groups are working in the interest of supporters but it seems as though the clubs management are not interested in getting fans back in the door.
I’m looking forward to spending my afternoon at Colney Heath where support is actually appreciated.

As far as NL, NLN and NLS are concerned, National Leagues governing body is to blame in my book. They should simply order all its member clubs that whoever is playing at home on Non-League day, they should adopt pay as you want to all supporters. End of, simple as that.

Both the trust and SBYS condemned the price rises - They didn't listen Ian Ridley offered to pay the difference - they didn't listen The fans forum was full of vitriol towards the price rise - they didn't listen Boycotting fans met Ian Allinson - they didn't listen Boycotting fans decided to attend the game v Bath on NLD to say this is a price (£15) we are willing to pay and met Lawrence - they didn't listen
There have been plenty of meetings between supporters and the club hierarchy in recent months and the price is still £18 and all we seem to get are a bizarre ever changing concession list and the weekly changing of which FL teams you can have ST's for to get in cheaper than our own ST holders
It made me laugh to listen to recent podcasts with people saying they don't agree with the boycott but how do we get our point across when they clearly don't listen
