We play Royston Town at home in the QF of the Herts Senior Cup. Royston beat Boreham Wood 4-0 in the 2nd Round at Garden Walk, tonight.

It should be much less than that for that game. At the most, £10

It should be much less than that for all our games. Unfortunately according to the current www.stalbanscityfc.com/admission-prices/ page (which may well change without notice at any time, as it has done before) the price for League, County Senior Cups and FA Qualifying Rounds is £18.

Then the club wonder why the boycott exists.
Get rid of the spineless yes men and dropped the ticket prices.

Not that I particularly want to defend the stubborn idiots who still can’t see what a bloody awful mess they’ve made of things this season, but for the last round of the Herts Senior Cup the advance price for adults was £10 or £5 for season ticket holders. Hopefully it will be the same for the Royston game.

You would hope so saint68 but it does illustrate how ridiculous / stupid etc the originally announced ticket prices were And are

interesting that you said"advance" price saint68...what was on the gate on the night price?

i got in for £5 with my season ticket on the 'door'. I think key point is pricing for local cups has been chaotic. How knows what the Royston price will be?

Sorry davymac55, I can’t remember what the pay on the gate price was.
I agree with bob666, who knows what the price will be for Royston. Common sense says the same as before, but common sense went out of the window last summer.

As well as beating Boreham Wood in the last round of the Herts Senior, Royston also beat them 2-0 in the FA Trophy yesterday.

Unless our form improves dramatically in the meantime, we could find ourselves in the rather unusual position of facing Royston Town in the quarter final as clear underdogs. Their win yesterday on a difficult pitch was no fluke and don't forget that they knocked out Wealdstone away in the previous round. Their midweek success in the Senior Cup was helped by Boreham Wood fielding seven academy players on the night, all of whom were making their senior debuts. Even so, we should be well aware that they are a big, physical and extremely competitive side. Whether their more direct style of play will be at its most effective on a bigger pitch and better playing surface than is to be found at Garden Walk is an altogether different matter.

Royston Town beat Chester 3-0 in the FA Trophy on Saturday. Could be a long wait for the semi-final if we get through on 11/2/20. 15/1/20 Hadley v Stevenage. Winners away to Ware. Winners of that away to Kings Langley. We would then be away to Hadley/Stevenage/Ware or Kings Langley.

If your mid table it can be fun- as its a competition we could actually win- but its harder to enjoy when your struggling in the league.

On the website tickets are available for 10 for adults and 8 for concessions - does not say if on the door prices will be higher. One thing that irks slightly is there cheap tickets for Stevenage, Luton and Watford season ticket holders but no discount whatsoever, at this stage anyway, for St Albans season ticket holders!

www.stalbanscityfc.com/royston-town-tickets-on-sale/Adults: £12 on the gate, or £10.20 if bought in advance, or £5.20 if you are an adult season ticket holder or member and purchase online (it doesn't say the on the gate price if you are a season ticket holder or member). Concessions: £10 on the gate, or £8.20 if bought in advance, or £4.20 if you are a concessions season ticket holder or member and purchase online (it doesn't say the on the gate price if you are a season ticket holder or member). Students and under 16s: £1, or £1.20 if bought in advance, or FREE if you are a student / under 16 season ticket holder or member and purchase online (it doesn't say the on the gate price if you are a season ticket holder or member). Under 12s: FREE Once everyone's finally got their heads round this ridiculous pricing scheme (well done once again, owners and spineless yes men), someone should tell all students and under 16s it's cheaper to pay on the gate than in advance.

They are having a good run generally. Only 1 loss in the last 16, I think.
