I see that the yellow AD43 Saints flag was hung up a the Maidstone game on Saturday and either hung up or left up for the Watford u23 game.
Next time it would be polite to ask a member of AD43 if they could hang the flag / flags ... which of course would've been rejected due to the ongoing boycott - especailly as members of AD43 have forked out hard earned £ to design and build that flag / those flags.
I'm sure LL is that delusional that he's taking that as a moral victory and thinks the boy-cotters are back...when its far from the case

You mean someone hung it up specifically for the Maidstone game, that isn't a member of AD43? Surely the flags haven't been at any home games all season..?

Always Dreadful. Turn on team/club whenever not happy with things. Flag was put up by some of supporters from disability team. Dont suppose they knew whose flag it was and does it matter - made them happy no doubt. Always good to see them get behind team at Clarence Park

Always good to see them get behind team at Clarence Park Think that judgement says more about you than anyone connected with AD43. We're a broad church, but are all life long fans that care about the club. Most of us have decided to boycott games because we think it's in the club's best interest in the long term. Not overly fussed about the flags, but does feel a bit low to be using our property without permission when we're apparently a bunch of "d***heads". Really don't buy the excuse of the disability team. Presumably someone gave them the bag of flags in the first place.

In all seriousness, it's sad to see the increasing hostility to those of us that are vocally boycotting Clarence Park. There are a number of supporters that I've previously got on well with that really seem to despise us for kicking up a fuss. The club has really lost it's way this season. Hopefully the owners will see sense and reduce the prices next season and we can get back to Clarence Park and heal the rifts that have developed. We may be a bunch of "d***heads", but we genuinely care about the club and it really hurts not to be going to Clarence Park.

Hostility? You didnt goon Saturday then. Disgraceful hostility from your group towards players and manager. Not forgetting anti club singing. Was same at Bath when we were last near the bottom. Same as when Jimmy was on his way. Same as, same as.

No I didn't go on Saturday. I'm not one to abuse the manager/players, but supporters have a right to express their frustrations. You've joined the message board specifically to share your feelings on this, so you obviously feel quite strongly about it. Please message me privately if you want to discuss it further. It's sad to see fans falling out when we all want the best for the club.

I was at Hampton on Saturday. There was singing in the second half but it was all positive. Mind you, I left right on the final whistle because I needed to be back home quickly, so it must have happened afterwards. I’d be interested to know what was sung.
Please keep it civil guys. We may not all agree on everything but in the end we’re all City supporters !!

The owners have presided over a decision that has caused more divisions in the club than any time in all the years I have been supporting them
Personally I think they've got off lightly that we arrive in January in the relegation zone with crowds down over 200, a widely condemned pricing policy that is equally condemned by those attending, not attending and from the wider world of non-league football and they've faced their first 'anti' chant and I started it, had I have had my way I would be filling every away game with these chants to show the depth of feeling because they certainly won't be getting fed the supporters point of view from the yes men they choose to surround themselves with. In fact the only reason there has been no 'anti' chants up to this point is because we've tried to engage, e-mails, meetings, attending non-league day to show support and have been ignored. One particularly clueless member of the 'yes men' brigade even had to cheek to invite a boycotter to a meeting, one would assume to try and heal some divisions but wanted some ideas on fundrasing to plug the shortfall in revenues caused by their decisions, you couldn't make it up.
Stop thinking LL and JmcG are some kind of messiahs, they've been taking advantage of the support ever since their first price rise

AD43 was the year of the Roman invasion of Britain. The conversion of a small Celtic settlement into the important Roman town of Verulamium occurred soon afterwards. One of the flags that used to be hung up before the boycott has AD43 on it, as opposed to 1908 when the club was formed. It appeared at the last home match, even though I believe its owners are part of the boycott.

Why AD43?? Wasn’t that the year that the Romans invaded. Hertfordshire and St Albans were happily occupied by the Catuvellauni Celtic tribe until those fore came!

Perhaps there should be Caractacus flags as he was the most famous king of the Catuvellauni tribe. Leading a lot of resistance against the Romans.

Verlamion was already the capital of the Catuvellauni kingdom before the Romans arrived an took over. The Romans even used the name to create Verulamion.
