Hi all -
Please see below for a message from the Club's community team in light of the current situation.
As you are no doubt aware a Club statement was made last week that the National League has suspended all National League football until at least 3rd April, due to the Coronavirus.
Everyone at St Albans City Football Club would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters for their understanding, and hope you all stay safe and well, following the most up to date advice from the Government.
You are likely to have already been approached by people or groups offering help, or asking for help, donations etc. In order to make sure that you do not fall victim to a scam, it is important that you should form alliances only with people that you already know. Friends and neighbour groups are very likely to prove helpful at this time, just make sure that you already know them before seeking their ‘help’.
As you have supported us, now perhaps we can support you through this difficult time: Following a suggestion by long-time supporter and club stalwart Gary Ruse, a Saints Community team has been formed offering help to any supporter that may be in difficulty as a result of the virus.
If you find yourself in isolation and struggling to cope within the guidelines that the government is setting, and that are continually evolving throughout this crisis, please let us know and through our team of volunteers we will endeavour to help you.
Do not hesitate to give us the chance to help you, after all the support you have given to us.
The team can be contacted on 07928 890348.
In the meantime, everyone at St Albans City Football Club would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters for their understanding and we all hope you stay safe and well.
We’ll see you all soon, Come On You Saints!
