Has there been any discussion and possible decisions yet on what is going to happen regarding season ticket refunds, well part-refunds if you like, from last season ? Possibly it will be rolled into next season and we will get a reduction on next seasons season tickets ? Does anyone have any idea ? I'm not going to write to the Club as l'd rather just see what happens, but l would've thought we'd hear something soon

Since there was only one home League game played in front of a crowd this season I would hope that all Season Tickets will be automatically renewed free for next season. I know STH had free access to the live streaming but apart from that got nothing for our money.
Hitchin played three home League games in front of crowds and have already announced that Season Tickets will be renewed free for next season. I would expect City and most other clubs to follow suit, but you never know ....

Just seems like they're a bit slow in reacting when it's other people's money in question. Pretty sure they'll offer the choice of a refund or season ticket for next season. It would have been such an easy PR win to do that straight away like Hemel did. Instead it comes across like they're dragging their feet when the reality is very few people will go for the refund, so it's not going to be a cash hit.

Speaking personally I renewed my Season Ticket to support the Club and give them some cash at a difficult time for them. I’m still a supporter of the team, even if I can’t agree with some of the decisions taken by the owners over the last couple of years.

Perhaps a “pay what you like” option for renewals next season might work?

The Club should be have been proactive on this (like Hemel) and let Season Ticket holders know exactly where they stand !!
Why is it so difficult for them to communicate important matters when it concerns supporters?

Apparently being a community club is all about what the community can do for the owners, rather than the other way round.

We all have our opinions and all I was trying to say was that I hope City follow other clubs examples and renew Season Tickets for next season.

Have other people got a invite to a meeting on the 22nd when this will be dealt with? I think I rather just have had to spelt out in a email. My own view is that we knew there was some risk in buying a season ticket and that I club has suffered financial so I am OK with some degree of burden sharing. I be OK as long as existing season ticket holders were offered renewal at £100 pounds or less, instead of a full refund.

Yes I had that e-mail too. There’s no real indication what they’re suggesting for Season Ticket renewals - maybe they’ll be renewed automatically as I hoped. Like bob666, I’m happy to pay a small amount but I can’t imagine they’ll ask for too much, they’ve already alienated too many supporters. I shall watch and listen to the meeting with interest next week.

Depending on how many STHs we've got, just how many will they be able to get on at one time ?

Did anyone else attend the meeting this evening?
Did I understand it correctly that season ticket holders from last season (20/21) will still have to pay the same price, with the usual 10% renewal discount, for next seasons (21/22)?
The only way to get a 60% pro rata refund on last season ticket you have to actually email the club directly requesting this refund.
Can someone else confirm this as my stream kept cutting out.
Plus I'm stunned if this is so.

Well, l hope we are going to get something back, l will reserve judgement until l see something from the Club, some sort of statement.

I missed it as well but unless the club were looking to negotiate what was the point of the meeting? Could they have just put out a statement on the website clearly explaining things? It almost feels like they making it deliberately difficult to get clear information?

I did not attend this evening so if the reports of what came out of the meeting are incorrect, fair enough.
However, if they are true, then it just appears to be a slap in the face for supporters who backed the club during a very difficult season. Those in charge of the club were more than happy to fund football without supporters in the ground or grants coming in just two months ago. But now they are unwilling to offer season ticket holders an automatic significant discount as a thank you for their support?
Dave Boggins down at Hemel has already offered all of their season ticket holders from last season a free one. Now I don't live in a fantasy land and totally accept that is a very, very good offer that we would be unlikely to match. However, surely those in charge could have considered a significant discount for all holders automatically, unless that supporter clearly states that they're happy to donate the full fee? Why do fans have to email the club directly to ask for the discount?
Was it confirmed or mentioned what a season ticket is likely to cost next season?
I hope that the Saints City Trust will be standing up for all fans if the above news is true. Although I do hope it isn't.

Genuinely think this might be a new low from the owners.
We only played 40% of home games, so the 60% refund is only for games we didn't even play.
That means season ticket holders paid full ticket price (£12.50 a game) for a £7 feed they might not have even had the technology to use. It's completely unjustifiable.

"Tony Colbourne spoke about season ticket holders from the past season who will be given a pro rate 60% refund on request by emailing the club but those who were in the membership scheme were not offered refunds as as discounts at the shop were still possible." So if you are a season ticket holder and in the membership scheme you won't get a refund?

What is wrong with this football club.
Either give us a free season ticket for next season - like Hemel have done.
Or
Give a full refund
You bunch of thieving rats.
It's not that hard.

So if you are a season ticket holder and in the membership scheme you won't get a refund? I hope that just means you cannot get a refund on membership. As the combined costs of membership and season ticket is less than a season ticket on its own I assume all season ticket holders are also members. So in practice this would mean no refunds. To be honest I expected it be pro-rata and for the stream to be counted as game available to attend but what has surprised and disappointing me is the way the club clearly trying to make it tricky to get a refund for season ticket holders. The club are like a dodgy double glazing salesman. The refund not a vast amount to me in the wider scheme of things but I am now absolutely determined to get it as a point of principle With luck next season will be more normal but no-one can guarantee this. So the club are asking people to take a chance again. There asking for good will while dumping on loyal fans As for Levy saying he is not profiteering. Everyone know the club makes a loss, we not that thick. This is not the point. It that his strategy for dealing with that loss is counterproductive - it is alienate fans and reduce attendance not build the fan base and revenues. Maybe 10/20 season ticket holders will not bother asking for refunds. Great you made £1200 quid but another 30/40 may just say .**** this and stop going- great economics. Local rivalries aside Dave Boggins has managed the whole thing so much better.

I think it would've been nicer if we just got a discount on our next seasons season ticket, but by asking us to go to them for it by emailing them, well it doesn't seem to be very friendly and understanding of our losses. It's as if they are hoping some people won't bother asking. Well I too am determined to get my bit back, but if it's not being done through next seasons season ticket applications, how will they refund us, how will we get that 60% back ?
