Does anyone know if fans will be allowed to attend pre-season games?
And if so are there restrictions? I guess after July 19 anything goes but before then?

Thanks Saint.
Tickets in advance only or will they be doing pay on the gate?

Thanks Saint. Tickets in advance only or will they be doing pay on the gate? The guidance for League matches is “tickets must be pre-purchased prior to attending a game whilst we operate a restricted capacity at Clarence Park”. I would imagine that it will be the same for pre-season friendlies. Of course, if the Government lifts restrictions in July that could change.

Pre-booked tickets may also relate to contact tracing rules. May be contact tracing will continue after restrictions are lifted.

Arlesey Town’s Twitter account have announced the prices for Saturday’s friendly;
Adults £8.00, Concessions £5.00, Under-16s Free.
They add that “more details for visitors will be posted on our website soon”. I presume that means away supporters will be welcome.

I wasn't there but it's nice to see a few goals going in against any opposition. But of course, friendlies are mainly about getting players fitness up, trying different shapes, seeing how the players are, after the long time off playing

It will be interesting to see people’s reactions to the changes at Clarence Park. Despite extensive social media coverage of the club there has been no mention of them to date which is a bit odd.

For those who weren’t there last night ... The pitch side bar is now up and running. The Club Shop has moved to the York Road end of the stand. The dugouts have been removed and presumably new (bigger?) ones will be installed before the beginning of the season. The main surprise is covering at either end being installed! (I wonder who’s paying for that, the Club or the Council?). It appears to be all but completed at the Hatfield Road end and the support poles are already in place at the York Road end. Although welcome and overdue, I wonder about the view, as there were a large number of support poles in place which I would imagine interferes will the view, similar as to when you sit in the Main Stand. I’d be interested to hear from anyone who stood under it.

In addition to this, when has CP been a non-smoking ground? I can understand there being no smoking in the main wooden stand for H&S reasons, but on the terraces, really?

I don't know about our away friendlies so far as l haven't been to them, but there were no programmes at our home game vs Stevenage I spoke to someone in the hut last Tuesday and he said there’d be no printed programmes for the friendlies. He also believed that programmes for the League games would be digital downloads only. However, during the game I was chatting with a Stevenage fan who said someone in the hut had told him there was supposed to be a printed programme covering all three home friendlies, but they hadn’t arrived yet. I guess that’s not much help really ......

It'll be a shame if there aren't any printed programmes anymore as for me anyway it's part of my matchday
