Great result and two good finishes from Jeffers. We showed a lot of energy despite the midweek endeavours and defended well, but Bath really were toothless.

A magnificent result today, especially considering that Johnny Goddard, Kyran Wiltshire, Zane Banton, David Noble and Tom Bender were not in the starting line up.

Very good result against what has to be said is a very poor Bath City side. Two excellent finishes from Jeffers, and an all round resolute defensive performance.
Keeps the momentum going! Well done Saints!

A good and important result..however..shouldve been more comfortable and at one nil against a not very good team it was in the balance ..2nd goal and game was over...get shots away and on target and stop giving away silly unnecessary fouls..better teams will make us pay...but always good to get a result in the Roman Derby..next 5 games at home including cup game so lets take advantage..COYS

Yeah good result for us, I'm surprised to hear that Bath were toothless against us, I'd always have them down as tricky opponents, particularly on their own patch

Yeah good result for us, I'm surprised to hear that Bath were toothless against us, I'd always have them down as tricky opponents, particularly on their own patch I think they suffered pretty badly from last years curtailment - believe one or two of their key players left to play their football elsewhere, Donovan Wilson is one who I’m told is now playing in League 2 with Sutton. There wasn’t loads to trouble our back line if I’m honest. They won’t be happy with either of the goals they conceded either, they weren’t particularly well crafted from our side. First was a long ball/flick on which caught their defence cold, the other was a cheap turnover up their end. As Boomer says though, very good to have got the points with so many missing. Easy to forget that we lined up with two academy grads, and a fair few players (Sole, Diedhou, Brown) who haven’t had many mins at all this season.

Onwards and upwards to the home games ahead which I'm looking forward to

Great result. Given the number of injuries we seem to have and the busy schedule I wonder if we could raid the kitty to bring a couple of experienced players. The owners must have a projected loss in their seasons plan. The FA cup windfall and the higher than expected crowds must mean we are comfortably beating this number so maybe we could look to strengthen the squad.
