www.stalbanscityfc.com/isaac-departs/"St Albans City can confirm the departure of Chez Isaac via mutual consent. The midfielder joined the Saints over the summer, scoring a memorable winner away at Tonbridge in August. We wish Chez all the best in his future endeavors" Any coincidence that the director of football departs and we are now getting players joining or leaving?

Well for sure, any player leaving or coming in should be with the approval of David Noble. I hope he made that clear when he had his interview for the Head Coach's job, that he wants to oversee any squad ins and outs ? Where's the point otherwise, of being at the helm but not able to shape things the way you want ?

www.stalbanscityfc.com/riccardo-di-trolio-makes-coventry-city-switch/St Albans City Football Club can announce the permanent departure of the 17-year-old defender and academy graduate, Riccardo Di Trolio, but are delighted to confirm the youngster will return on loan until the end of the season. Di Trolio came through the reformed SACFC Academy, joining from St Albans City Youth in the summer of 2020 at the age of 15. It was not long before U16 manager Jason Eames-Illingworth, Head of Performance Anthony Gosling & Academy Manager Charlie Boswell saw Riccardo as a player with huge potential, promoting him quickly through the age groups, he made his U18s debut in February of 2021. By August of the same year, the calm composure Di Trolio showed playing beyond his years caught the eye of now 1st Team Assistant Coach Jon Meakes, who together with B-Team coach Tony Gauthier, gave Riccardo his City B debut shortly after his 16th birthday. Little over a year later, Di Trolio would break into the 1st team. Making his full senior debut in October 2022 under newly appointed City manager David Noble, the 17-year-old has since earned his spot as a core member of our National League South squad, playing nine games so far this season. A notable performance came on the road at Welling United, where Riccardo was tested against some of the league’s most experienced forwards, but stood his ground well and helped the Saints to a clean sheet and three points. Di Trolio follows in the footsteps of former Director of Football Dean Austin, who is now Head of Recruitment at Coventry City. We look forward to having Riccardo with us to the end of the season and hope the move proves an important stepping stone in his career.

Good luck from me, as well, Riccardo.
I have seen him play for the 'B' several times over the past 18 months. Huge potential imo.
