Devante Stanley has been magnificent for the Saints in the first half, as has Jack Turner in goal for Farnborough.

Darn quick turnaround on the play-offs, glad we are not playing on Monday. Chelmsford will be gutted losing today at home when they could have gone straight to the semis. Great attendance today, league best this season
Dulwich go down, sad for their big fan base

Great attendance today, league best this season Dulwich go down, sad for their big fan base It was a good win, we did well, we came out of the blocks fighting right from the very first whistle, and deserved to win. Farnborough were big and solid, but played like a team with nothing to play for other than pride, so it's onwards and upwards for us, hopefully

I hope not, I hate going to Dulwich.

A terrific performance in the sunshine. Finally it felt like spring has arrived and Clarence Park looked magnificent packed out with fans. Particularly noticeable was how many youngsters were there. At Premier League and League football it's become very obvious over the past few years how the crowds are ageing.
A good-natured pitch invasion at the end too. Must confess I entered the field of play just to feel the turf under the feet and was surprised how bobbly it was underfoot. A very wet, cold winter has probably taken its toll.
A sixth-placed finish and when you think of some of the wobbly games, especially at home, it could have been even better. We only won one of our first eight league games (Concord 1-0 on Oct 11). Led against Tonbridge Angels, Eastbourne and even Ebsfleet and lost at home. Were very poor against Slough at home and led and couldn't beat Cheshunt.
Away from home is a different story – second best record in the division behind champions Ebsfleet - and makes me wonder whether away play-off games will be a blessing in disguise. Just hope I can get a ticket!
Objectively speaking I wonder where this season ranks in the club's history?
Am I right in thinking it's our third highest finish? 24th in the Conference in 2006-07, 2nd in the Conference South 2005-06.
Before the formation of the Conference South / National South Saints were 2nd in the Isthmian Premier in 1992-93, which I guess was a comparable level being one step below the Conference. Also 4th in 2002-03 and sixth three times.

Also 4th in 2002-03 and sixth three times. The 92/3 Southern League included Cheltenham Town, Crawley Town and Burton Albion who are now all EFL sides. The Isthmian League had Sutton United, also now EFL. Both leagues had sides that have dropped in status such as Bashley, Hastings Town & Dorchester Town (Southern) and Aylesbury United, Marlow, Staines Town, Wivenhoe Town and Windsor & Eton (Isthmian). The Southern covered a bigger area (Midlands to the south coast) and had a longer history of being semi-pro so was often regarded as better, but by then there was not much in it.

First time I've watched the highlights for ages. They used to be terrible, with logos flashing, wipes, and REPLAY all over the place.
This one was very good - looked professional and very watchable (Apart form minor wrong team name at beginning with team names! (Welling United))
Well done.
