After the IA wilderness years, and after only 6 months in charge, David The Nobleman takes Saints to playoffs and one game from National League..tremendous achievement especially as under previous we never got a sniff..anyone still believe I A did a good job? If so, Hendon beckons...its great to have hope and belief again..tremendous stuff regardless of Sundays result at Oxford..COYS!! You seem obsessed with IA. It feels like a personal vendetta, you seem to actively dislike him a as man rather than see him as having certain shortcomings as a coach. No one else has referred to him for months. This feels not unlike spending the entire night before you wedding critiquing you ex. Have you considered therapy? Allison done a decent job stabilising us in the division and delivered one of our best ever cup runs. In retrospect he should have gone in the summer and he is not going to remembered with the likes of Sid Prosser or Colin Lippiatt but he done Ok and left the club in tier 6, by historical standards a decent level for us. 6.5 out of 10 for me.

My take on IA is quite simple, he did brilliantly with his commercial links which helped stabalise the club financial but lets be honest, we have been a nomadic club for literally for as long as I can remember, besides the rare 1st round FA cup appearances or even more rare National league promotion and a FA Cup 2nd round game the club hasn't really ever gone anywhere. I won't lie I was even unsure of the Noble appointment, then again I was sort of excited at the prospect of my former class mate Harry Wheeler being mentioned in the mix for the job at one stage, but I have to say Noble has exceeded my expectations so far, long may it last.
