This is the worst start in the clubs history and Noble is on the verge of having the worst points per game average of any Saints manager. But yep great performance lads. The trouble is, a point against TorQuay away I'd have taken all day long, but when you're right near the bottom of the table, 1 point is not enough. You need 3 points from games at the end of the day when you are struggling |

This start to the season has all the hallmarks of 15/16 season when we had to win 7 of the last 10 games to avoid relegation! We did it by bringing back committed local lads like James Kaloczi, Ben Martin etc. Get Weiss back NOW before it is too late! Great point today but no wins in 8 should tell the owners, David etc that this team in not good enough, and if they are, then something is desperately wrong!

Once we soaked up their initial pressure, I thought that we were the better side. We would probably have gone on to win the game with 11 players. Torquay were very average and were there for the taking. I thought that the ref had a decent game apart from letting their players pinch an extra 10 yards with every throw in.

Torquay's match highlights:
Relieved with a point in the circumstances but suspension further depletes the available squad, of course. Cannot be allowed to get down to only development players on the bench, with league wins absolutely crucial and a cup run at stake too.
