I wonder if it might have been better if we just lost 4-0. This might have forced the owners hand. We cannot allow the comeback to cloud the issue. We got 3 points from 10 games. I remember saintsman2000 said that a replacement for Noble needs to be well considered. Ideally yes but I think we now at the point that there is value to just bringing in a new face who is not Noble or Wheeler even if there a only a mediocre appointment. By definition a new manager cannot do much worse. Even if its a. case of rolling the dice on a guy whose done well at a lower level its worth a shot.

Nothing unsurprising in the tone of Noble's post-match interview there

Spot on, bob666 and I agree about the scoreline today - 3-4 just clouds the issue. We were never in it and only Hoddle, Moore and, possibly, a couple of others were up for it. The defence, generally, was a shambles.

How bad does it have to get before changes are made? The only positive was we weren’t conceding loads of goals, now we’ve conceded 8 in our last 2. Borehamwood away in a few weeks, it could be an absolute hiding

They’ll probably be in the FA cup still so we might have a rest bite
