Someone at the match told me that it wasn't the greatest game but the three points will do nicely!

Looking at the other results I'd say that we're still in with a playoff chance - must beat Oxford though.

Thought we were fairly comfortable throughout, they created a couple of chances in the last twenty minutes,Jupp tipping over a header from a long throw, then another header from left wing cross that either hit the post or Juppy saved ( other end). I was disappointed with the starting line up - no Sakho (dropped) and no Newton, presumably injured. Sakho came on after half an hour for Furlong but was ordinary. Simon had an excellent all round game and took his goal very well, the perfect answer to his fiercest critic (me). Cedric had his best game yet ,totally dominant in the air and winning a lot of tackles.Chris Henry had a poor game, two first half corners trickled into the side netting set the tone and he didn't recover. Have to say that Frome looked the worst team I have seen, and we will have to play better on Tuesday, but 4 - 1 - 1 from our last six away is good form.

Sorry Aries. Blame D. It was supposed to be Arsenal. Its was actually their 3rd team from the old Metropolitan League. Sorry Brummie! Completely missed this! I obviously had Arlesey on the mind but I've no idea why! ;D Must have been because we played them the other week.

I notice from the report on St. Albans Review website that Simon Martin's goal cemented 'his position as the clubs eighth highest goal scorer'. Congratulations to Simon Martin! Many more to come, I hope! The top 10 goalscorers list is on the SACFC.co.uk website here - www.sacfc.co.uk/index.php/statistics/top-10-goalscorers.htmlSimon will next be gunning down Lee Clarke and trying to beat his 92 goals!
