On a very good playing surface, the young saints put on an excellent display of football, I can count on one hand how many times the ball was played above head height in the 1st half and culminated in 5-6 good opportunities of which we took 2 well taken goals courtesy of Tremayne Charles and ken Ogbuagu. We started the second half in the same vain but Windsor stopped the fluidity, by relentlessly giving away free kick after free kick, from one of these James shaw scored an absolute stunner bending the ball over the wall and into the top corner, with his 1st touch after coming off the bench. All in all a very professional performance from all the lads. Well done. COYS

That's correct Hatboy. 9 from the 11 who started will be eligible next season, so things are looking bright for the future ;-)

Any truth in the rumour that we might also be running an U18 sunday side in the Eastern junior alliance next season?

First I've heard of a sunday side next year, so obviously no truth in the rumour. We'll have enough to do with running the U18s and hopefully a reserve side which will also contain a lot of the current 1st and 2nd year youth. ;D

Considering the Capital League .... again ?
The last few times in this league have been an absolute shambles. Ask those who had to turn out one wintery night a few years ago (including the coach driver !!) when a team could not be put together.
The leagues are small, 10 teams so not many games per season, its played midweek, normally Wednesdays so not sure how many youth players would actually be able to take part and the last time we were in it the league programme didn't even get completed.
There must be better leagues out there that would suit the clubs needs better.

No doubt the club will do what's best regarding all possibilities for all its teams, and nothing will be decided or officailly declared without due thought and consideration.
