And last night's referee missed everyone of those three pens. One, maybe but three? I would suggest that he needs to think seriously about his future in the game.

You could say Stourbridge were very 'lucky'

I agree with what Boomer has said. It was a very entertaining contest, and I think we ultimately deserved to win the game.
It should have been more comfortable really; we hit the woodwork twice and should have had (at least) three penalties. Their captain spent the entire game climbing on Simon Martin and I don't think I'll ever see a more blatant spot-kick than the one the challenge on Sean warranted.
The booking of Ryan Watts was a diabolical decision - it was a fantastic challenge. Also, the ref booked David Ijaha for a 'foul' he didn't even see. I actually hope that referee never takes control of another football match, it was that atrocious. Referees are allowed to make the odd mistake or two, but that was just plain incompetence. I can't imagine how we'd all be feeling if we lost that game.
I think a mention should go to Ngakame and Diarra as well, nothing got past them. I think Ngakame has been one of the most underrated players this season, and Diarra was really impressive. I liked the way he had the ability to bring the ball out of defence rather than just hoofing it every time and he deserved his goal.
This could prove to be a massive result, and my optimistic hope that we'll make the playoffs has been restored.

The ref was absolutely terrible! He was only a couple of yards from the foul on Shields, it was one of the most blatant penalties I have ever seen. Their no.7 had his arms on Simon's shoulders every time he jumped for the ball, everyone could see he was being fouled apart from the ref. He finally blew for a foul on about the 91st minute!!
I think that Ngakame has been fantastic since he came in, possibly my player of the season so far. Also Ijaha was fantastic last night and his passing has improved as the season has progressed. To be honest, there were so many good performances last night that it's not possible to mention them all.
I think that the most important thing was that it was clear that Stourbridge are a really good side, possibly the best side that I have seen this season and we managed to beat them.
Hopefully we can take our home form to some of the away games because our performances away from home have generally been poor, too often resorting to hoofball.

Great result and performance against the 12 (14 if linos are included as they were as bad). An exciting game between 2 well matched sides. Glassboys certainly one of the best weve seen here if not the best. But we matched and beat them and could have done so comfortably if there had been any officials actually officiating! Every player put in a shift i feel and player of the season jupp needs to be signed up long term. He is better than this league. and maybe several others as well but Jupp has been outstanding on occasions. Sure he has made the odd rick but the balance says he has helped us win more than lose through his efforts. However, we need to win all games from now on in. such a pity that the start we had to the season up to Xmas has put us in this position. it is clearly a poor league that has not needed a great team in order to win. Competitive? Yes. But six slow greyhounds can make an exciting race. doesnt make them good. Havent seen any BSS games this season so dont know what that looks like. so only two teams have scored more goals than us. And only two teams conceded more. And Jupp is my Player of Season! Funny old game

How he didn't give the Shields penalty god only knows, the second goal looks even better than i remember on the night and i've said all along even before and during our good run that Nick makes at least one Fantastic save ever game to either just keep us ahead or in the game before we get an equaliser or winner.
