"so why not get off the xmas sofa and make the short trip to the City of St Albans stadium and support your team"
Maybe they know something we don't!

The odds of 6/4 represent decent value at the moment as team in relative form ;playing at home. Could be time to get Xmas expenses back! COYS

Both Banbury and St. Neots look good value at those odds.

Many sincere apologies for inadvertently "relocating" you - was in a bit of a rush to publish that match preview, along with finishing up for work before Christmas. I corrected it a while ago Best wishes to all going to the game tomorrow. Have a great day and, no matter which way the result goes, I'm sure you'll do a great job of remembering Ryan

We should of nicked all 3 points we were battering them at the end !

But over the whole game would we have deserved all three points? We were poor, especially in the first half, however, it is a draw against the team sat in second, and we are now unbeaten in ten games in the league, so we should take the positives.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Thought Chesham were quicker to most of the loose balls for most of the game and were gifted their first half goals by poor passing and poor use of the ball. Our equaliser was clearly in. I understand why they argued it but they knew it was over the line - cut and dried. As soon as Nwokeji came on and resumed his partnership with Frendo I thought we were the likely winners. Nearly did.
One downside. These stewards. A number of them seem to think they're policing a nightclub in Moss side or something like that - which they'd run a mile from. Aloof, rude, lacking social skills. Some of them need educating, quickly.

Agree totally. Entertaining game but we gave them their goals with slack play. Thought we occasionally played one too many touches near the goal. Chesham looked physically stronger and much quicker on the break. Yes - what is it with the stewards; is this a new development or have I not noticed (apart from the Cup and Trophy games)?

The Stewards are there for bigger games (Like today's) after the club was sanctioned because of the Hemel pitch invasion and flare throwing.

That's as may be but a few of these stewards need to learn how to behave and how to speak to people. Some of them are aggressive, inflamatory and don't quite seem to understand their place in the scheme of things. The way one of them spoke to two little lads today for going down the front (there has never been any announcement to my knowledge that this is no longer permitted) was unacceptable. Another one was staring daggers at various members of the crowd as if he was spoiling for a fight, knowing he wasn't going to get one. Had he got one I doubt he could have looked after himself. There may be a need for stewarding at bigger games but they need briefing on what constitutes acceptable standards of behaviour on their part up front.

Yeh, that's another issue. Why are kids no longer allowed to stand at the front? At the Mansfield game a steward told me it was due to 'health and safety' - when I asked why he had no idea.

But over the whole game would we have deserved all three points? I didn't say we deserved them i said we could of nicked it and sometimes football is like life you don't always get what you deserve but have to take what your given !

a fair result over the 90 mins bar the last 15 when we had the upper hand. chesham totally out played us in midfield all game.
i'll take the point and be thankful we held the prolific drew roberts . he's just the Sub signing we need.

Was the ball over the line for our second? This picture suggests it definitely was: /photo/1

Ball was definitely over. Why did we need stewards when playing a small club like Chesham. Their away support was tiny. Shame we didn't grab the 3 points. Hope Graham ok.

Wow if the leagues top goal scorer started on the bench, imagine how many he'd score if he started every game. Entertaining game, thought we maybe could have nicked it in the last ten, but a good result not to lose against one of the pace setters. I see Hemel won 5-3, huge game on Tuesday 21st jan.

Blimey if you thought that was an entertaining game then I'd hate to see a dull one! Paid a rare visit to CP and the usual fare was served up. Poor passing, poor control...even Comley had an off day. Chesham were by far the better team although looked dodgy at the back on the rare occasions that SACFC got at them.
