Hello everyone,
As I am sure you have all noticed, the forum looks rather different! This is because the forum software has updated, so, for a little while, we will be trying to iron out any of the issues and problems.
Please bear with us while we sort the issues and the update out, and if you find any problems, or have any comments, feel free to post them here!
Thanks,
Saint, Daedalus and COYS.

Still don't like it, the proper Yellow and Blue (Army) was much better

Hey Hatboy. These colours have pretty much always been the default colours of the forum. I think you must have set your profile to 'Saints Yellow and Blue' on the old forum design. I didn't realise anyone used it to be honest! It was a first attempt at a colour scheme back in the early days of Saints Chat and I thought it was way too bright so I abandoned it! Anyway, I have switched the bright yellow and blue one back on. If you would like to use it then you can select it in your profile. I can't be responsible for any headaches or eye strain that you may have as a result of staring at a bright yellow and blue screen though!

If anyone comes across any issues with the new forum design then please let us know. We'll do our best to sort things out over the next few days.
Any feedback welcomed. We'll keep an eye on this thread.

My God, What a performance to log in...I kept repeating and it kept refusing until it gave in to me and finally recognised me...Anyway I am not keen in the layout. I like to see at a glance when the last posts have been made.....

Yes, the logging in page is a bit of a pain. If you click on 'remember me' then hopefully you won't have to do it too often!
What is it about the layout that is stopping you from quickly seeing when the last posts have been made? Can't promise anything but maybe I could make an adjustment if you explain what exactly you mean.
One tip is that if you look under the 'Forum Information & Statistics' on the front page of the forum, you can click on 'Recent Posts' to bring up the last 30 (I think) posts. This is my preferred way to do a quick check on the latest posts.
I guess the forum layout will just take some getting used to. It's always the case that when a site like YouTube updates, everyone hates it at first, but we soon forget and become familiar with the new design. I hope that will be the case for us here on Saints Chat.

What I mean, is on the old site, todays posts were in heavy type on the right ,and yesterdays were marked as such. Cheers, Stan

All of the threads with new posts in them have the word 'new' next to them on the left side of the subject title. I think that's the best way to see where the new posts are at a glance.
Posts made in the last 24 hours are indicated with a bold time-stamp in the column on the right side (e.g. Last Post by Hatboy 14 hours ago).
Any posts older than 24 hours have a date in italics instead (e.g. by Boomer Jan 7, 2014 at 9:24pm).
I hope that's helpful.
