Watch the offers start to flood in now as they try and get people through the gate Bit of a kick in the teeth for ST holders tho indeed. not much of a brucey bonus given that last season one could have watched both games for 24 quid and still have change for a bag of Tesco humbugs !!

Very predictable, really. We're a month into the season and the club are doing an offer. Admittedly, they did some offers last season when there were two home games in quick succession.
And, although I think you'd need your head examining to stay in and watch England play Switzerland on the telly on Monday night, the clash with the Bromley game does not do much to encourage floating supporters.
But surely this is pretty much an acceptance that the pricing policy is wrong? It would be interesting to know what sort of average crowd the owners and chairman budget for and anticipated.
The thing is, it's impossible to prove one way or another whether fewer away fans are visiting, or whether crowds would be bigger if the price was £12 or £13. Also, we have no idea whether other matchday income is up or down.

Perhaps the sensible thing would have been to pitch the admission fee at £13.00 originally and there would have been no or very little backlash in the first place
