Incidentally, when was the last time we beat Sutton at Sutton - or at all, come to think of it?!

The start of the 2004/5 Conference South season. We won 2-1, with a couple of goals from Lee Clarke. Let's hope we can repeat that scoreline tomorrow. It's been a while since we have played them in the league. We have been involved in the Conference National and the Southern League, while they dropped into the Ryman League.
COYS!

Thanks Boomer. Hopefully, a 10 year wait will come to an end. I think we will need to score more than one goal though - something we haven't done in a while.

To put it in perspective we haven't played them since the 2007/08 season and we drew then lost the time before and as Boomer said won the time before that in the 2004/05 season. Our record there is W9 D8 L13 F 38 A 62 Pts 35, incidentally our home record against them is W14 D10 L8 F 60 A 42 Pts 52 (Thanks Webbo) and we lost at Home to them this season ! Over the years we have tended to share the results a lot so losing at home to them does point to a strong chance of us winning at theirs.

Hope all goes well today. Had hoped to make the trip to Sutton today but have a bit of a Frendo experience. My father-in-law has bought me a ticket for Spurs v Man Utd so it's a COYS X2 for me today! (hoping Twitter will keep me updated from 3pm onwards...)

Joking of course. He's injured.

Hate to be the prophet of doom but Saints can't keep a lead. I said they'd need to to win but they'll need that to draw now. Not looking good.

Not bringing on our only attacking player, Bailey, has left a few bemused.

Looks like another day of unpredictable results in Conference South as Bath beat Borehamwood, Ebbsfleet get hammered 5-1 by Basingstoke and Whitehawk losing 2-0 to Farnborough. Shame we lost as we would have gained ground on play off positions...

Jimmy- Bailey not brought on as he played 90 mins yesterday on his dual registration. Was there literally no one else available then? Seems like a wasted spot on the bench to me if he never intended to consider bringing him on??

Nope, the squad is that depleted at the moment. Gorman and Wales were both there despite serving their last suspension today.

Shows we need another Striker Lancaster certainly can't play as a lone striker as we saw today, we were pretty dire all round.

It seems pretty daft to me to go into the Christmas schedule with only two recognised strikers. When did Frendo find out he was injured ? What is going on, have we run out of money again ?
The play-offs ! We are not safe yet in this league and yet we seem to be prepared to weaken our squad. Everyone else is strengthening theirs.
The good news is that Boreham Wood are falling apart with Ben Martin in their back four.
