I was there today and it was dreadful. Two poor teams against each other. I'd be interested to know where the wages that Martin, Ward, Pires and Shields were on have gone?? Budget cut maybe?
We were totally clueless in attack today. What is the point in having Bailey on the bench when you take Keenleyside off for Hall?? Strange substitution.
We seem to have settled for lower mid table finish.
lets hope Comleys injury isnt too bad as desperately need him fit.

Does seem we are happy just to drift along towards the end of the season.
Quality players have gone and no replacements have been brought in.
Makes the £15 ticket pricing seem more ridiculous than ever.

Inept and clueless. Worth going to game for the look on coms face as his deflected shot went in. It was one of "is that what can happen when we shoot?". Terrible game between two poor teams. Felt sorry for hall. Not. Looked like he hadn't seen a football for weeks cos he didn't know what to do with it. In defence we seem to play the ball back into trouble too often. Don't get it. Absolutely nothing up front. Yet we could have won. Funny old game. Thankfully the rest of the teams in our league appear as inconsistent as everyone else. Much if a muchness with anyone capale of gubbins anyone else, us excluded. Onto Hemel with hope mire than expectation of a good performance. However all said if we were t avoid a relegation battle and finish where we are my pre season hopes would be fulfilled. It's the poor performances that are disappointing.

I had my doubts when the line up was announced - which showed the problems we have with current depth of our squad when affected by injuries and suspensions. I do like Lancaster - and think he is one to watch for the future - but he is not a lone striker. He hasn't had a lot of 1st team experience either - before coming to City he had played less than 10 1st XI matches with Spurs, Dagenham & R and Stevenage combined.

After about 30 minutes, the players looked out on their feet. We are definitely down to the bare bones with the squad especially if Frendo and Comley are now injured although we have players coming back from suspension. It will be a very difficult game against Hemel on their cabbage patch of a pitch especially as they didn't have a game yesterday.

Hopefully Frendo and Comley will be fit for Thursday's game. If the team can repeat the effort they put in to the Bromley away match then - on a cabbage patch of a pitch - I see no reason why we cannot beat Hemel on their cabbage patch pitch. We had lots of doom and gloom after the Wealdstone Fa trophy replay but recovered - let's hope we can repeat that recovery again.
