After the latest round of results another 3 points may be all that we need so long as farnboro keep up the good work! Staines away at Bromley highlights how any one can beat anyone. Also good that teams around us no longer have games in hand of us. A good run of performances and results to end on a high would be no less than the core supporters deserve. We have witnessed some abysmal performances with a few decent ones thrwn in. The lot of a mid table team I suppose. A settled squad ready to start next season is a must. The points we got early on highlight the importance of a good start. Playing catch up is difficult. I am almost confident that a good performance and result on Saturday keeps us in the Conf South. On a different subject, should Borehamwood go up it will be because they deserve to on results etc. But a team with a hard core base of 200 one div below League status would be a travesty.

I agree a win next week would secure conf south status. This division has certainly changed since we were last in it few years back, a lot more tougher and competitive where a team with 10 losses can be second in table, with maidstone and poss dartford coming in next season is there a club to be moved into conf north?

.........................with maidstone and poss dartford coming in next season is there a club to be moved into conf north? 5 places to fill in the Conference South next season. As it stands at the moment, it looks like Dartford, Welling, Maidstone, Poole and whoever gets through the play offs from the Ryman. There is a reasonable chance that either Corby, St. Neots or Redditch could get through the Southern League play offs and go into the Conference North. There are a number of other possibilities here as well - Welling could still yet escape (5 of their last 7 games are at home) and although Hemel are likely to be higher than us in the pecking order to go north, unlikely as it seems, they could yet come through on the rails, sneak into the play offs and make it into the Conference. And then, of course, there is the AGM Cup..............

Hemel should be sent to the Conference North, not us.
They would feel at home up North. Higher unemployment, teenage pregnancy and queues of people waiting for pubs to open during the week.
We have had a good season and should be pleased we have avoided being dragged into a relegation battle.
