FT 0-3
A decent performance in the first half but once they scored the 2nd goal it was all over.

3-0
Sutton just too strong despite a decent fight by the team especially in the first half. Next two games against Weston and Hayes really are games now where we need to pick up at least 4pts

Quote from a Sutton fan on the Conference South forum:
Shame, especially following the two wins, but after this season, you cant really blame the fans.
Though of course, there is always a chance of staying up, no matter how slim it is.

All in all, I thought (for the first hour at least), the Saints gave a very decent performance but, unfortunately, we seemed to fall away after Sutton's 2nd goal. Sutton are easily the best side we have faced/will face all season so there is no disgrace in going down to a side, brimming with talent all over the park. Looking at their bench, which included Jamie Slabber, Craig Dundas, Stuart Fleetwood, Nicky Bailey and Louis John, it is no surprise that we found it difficult yesterday, if the likes of those five cannot make their starting line up. 5 years ago Nicky Bailey moved from Charlton to Middlesbrough for a reported £1.4m and Stuart Fleetwood has plied his trade with a number of Football League clubs.
Onwards and upwards to Tuesday.
COYS!
