Sad News - former saints striker and all round nice bloke Dominic Gentle passed away on Friday after learning he had brain cancer only a fortnight previous
His brother Justin also played for the saints at the same time in the late 90s
RIP

What awful news, remember him playing in our 1998/1999 Trophy semi-final season.

That is terrible news and no age at all. An all round nice guy. I remember seeing him scoring a few goals that season, including away at Ashton Utd and Dagenham & Redbridge in the historic F.A.Trophy run. Great memories.

oh yeah thanks boomer, it was polston who somehow was clean through on the right, keeper saved and dom put in the rebound
it definitely was muddys left foot, up there with tom meredith against carshalton at the park for the best volley from a defender ive ever seen
