I see that Sutton have been fined 3/6d for playing an ineligible player against us. Surely they should have points deducted and preferably given to us ? They should at the very least give us the 3/6d. Nuneaton recently had points deducted but Sutton not, so presumably there different degrees of playing ineligible players. Perhaps if the ineligible player wasn't very good you might only get one point deducted, if really good all three points etc.

No team has ever been awarded the points as far as I'm aware
Common sense prevailed for once in this case

I was kidding about points being given to us. My point was the inconsistency of football authorities. Both Nuneaton and Corinthian Casuals have had 3 points deducted, both are close to being in the play-offs for their own leagues. Sutton for a verysimilar breach to Nuneaton have a £500 fine, but no points deduction.
I guess life just isn't fair !
Let's hope we are treated fairly today in sunny Ruislip.

If Sutton had Ronaldo and Bale they would have had 50 points deducted. Lol

Common sense or not the rule should always be the same for everyone, reminds me of when Weymouth weren't deducted the points until they had won the league a joke
