One of our media team has posted on the Conference South forum
"One or two changes behind the scenes towards the boardroom too potentially, impacting not just upon ourselves. "
Not sure what that means exactly but I hope that means that there is new money coming into the club and that Mr Allinson will be given more money to buy players so that we can try and win the league next season.

I doubt that they'll be significant changes, but if there are, just the typical comings and goings that you see at this level, much like you have with the playing squad. Although, with Allinson in charge, think we'll have an exciting season ahead anyway, even without anything like 'new money' coming in.

Got to*
Inner circle strikes again, I know something you don't know, speculation on my part, I'd love to tell you but I can't, something I've heard, blah blah blah, the boardroom hasn't changed for ages so why would you speculate that it's going to change now, and why would you speculate that changes may affect other clubs, seems a bit precise, I guess people will just have to wait and see, wont' they?

But it is just speculation on my part, I think you're looking into my own words a bit too much.
Oh, and I'm definitely not in the 'inner circle', I hear surprisingly little haha!

if its not the players he is talking about , it leaves the chairman or Tom as doubt the owners are going anywhere soon, Does anyone know the full boardroom members/names

It's quite obvious when you think about it. I don't know why people have to pretend they don't know anything then try and drop non-subtle hints that they do. Imaginary points-scoring, perhaps? It's nothing for us to get crazy about, but one or two other teams might, put it that way.

I have a programme to hand and the directors are listed as Levy,McGowan and Archer. What is also listed is that Saint is a member of the Media Team. I am not sure what that entails but I would presume it means liaising with the media and giving out press releases. So to say " One or two changes behind the scenes towards the boardroom" and then claim it is "just the typical comings and goings etc. is plainly ridiculous. ahad43 seems to have hit the nail on the head here, Imaginary points scoring - exactly. If you are going to reply please refrain from using smiley faces as they show a distinct lack of class and well below the required standard from a St Albans City media team member.

I heard a rumour that the Wealdstone Raider is joining our Board.

I had no idea I was listed in the programme, how exciting! My posts again were pure personal speculation on my part, there was no issue with them, and infact there is no guarantee that there will or will not be any changes. My original post on that other forum ended with the use of the word 'potentially'. My posts on this forum and any other forum are formed of my own personal opinions, and are not associated with the club (Unless stated otherwise) or any area of the Media Team, and as a result I am free to post as many smileys, personal opinions and reactions as I like, and it's ridiculous to suggest that I cannot because I volunteer for the club. Now, if I was responding in any sort of official capacity, then I would understand and appreciate such a point. I have no doubt that other individuals associated and linked with the club at all levels also have a presence on this and other forums, but it's just their identities and forum names aren't quite as well known. However, I'm sure that they still use smileys every now and again. Hopefully we will have an exciting few months ahead on and off the pitch. At the end of the day I am just a fan, and want the best for everyone and everything involved with the club.

Now nobody is allowed to use a smiley when we want to for fear of failing to reach the required standard of class? Are you the class-police! Or is that just Saint who isn't allowed to show any emoti(c)on.

I think we can expect to sign Jordan Parkes next Thursday morning, with him signing a deal at 10:32am in the boardroom witnessed by Archer, Levy and Norman, with a wage of £200 per week, a goal bonus of £60 and an assist bonus of £20.
I'm also planning to have a tuna pasta bake for lunch, probably with a can of coke, and maybe a bag of Walkers Cheese and Onion crisps.
Just speculation on my part though, and I could be wrong. Don't read too much in to it.

Major changes in boardroom? Need to know basis, davymac. Also, maybe stuff gets drip fed around this 'inner circle', moves to the 'outer circle', gets posted as rumour on message boards for imaginary internet points, but when questioned is retracted due to fear of displeasing the 'inner INNER circle', and claimed as rather particular, peculiar and precise 'speculation.' How silly. Can't we all be friends? No.

Just wondering, Saint... Are you liking the tongue-in-cheek replies because they deflect the attention away from your original 'speculation?' Surprisingly not, I'm actually enjoying the replies at my expense! If I was truly trying to deflect attention, surely I'd try a bit harder and maybe quote and reply to them or just lock the thread.

One Casualty within the 1st team is that of Harry Wheeler who was released by Ian Allinson last week. I would like to wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Turns out that's exactly what happened, my speculation came eerily true. It's almost as though I got some information, shared it under the heading of my own thoughts, then reaped the adulation and karma when it came true. Check me out.
Shame ahad43 can't fill us in more, but thanks cityslicker88 for being upfront as ever. Top man.

No problem scottishsaint. it does make me chuckle when I read 'if true'. I have only ever told the truth, some of which might not be the required taste for many on this forum, nevertheless it's still the truth. I welcome anyone to read back through all my previous posts and tell me what did not come to fruition or was an untruth!!
I find it bizarre that the club has not made a statement for the Assistant Manager being released, bearing in mind that Harry was given the 1st team management job on a permanent basis only a few months ago.
