Potentially could be at Wealdstone quite early on Monday what pub is best to head to before the game? Also which station is nearest the ground on the met line

No idea on the pubs but the nearest tube station is Ruislip.

Just hope the Wealdstone Raider behaves himself.

It's a dump, there is nowhere to drink round there. You'd be better off finding someone on the Met Line instead - Baker St, West Hampstead etc

The Railway and The Gallery are both good bars in West Hampstead. Both are close to the tube station.

Just got back from a frustrating night in Ruislip.
We took the lead against the run of play, quite simply they battered us for the first ten minutes. An absolute howler gifted Morias the opening goal. I couldn't quite see the build up to Benyons goal, looked like a cracking finish, but also looked like our back four's lack of,pace was found out this evening as both goals were very similar.
Great that Theo got off the mark with a scrappy goal.
I'm not one to criticise referees but it did look like a stone wall pen in injury time on Hoenes, also not sure how Merson was booked for diving whilst he was receiving treatment from th physio.
We created enough to win the game but didn't convert.
Ah well, onto Bath with a good four points in the bag.

Bender got booked for what I assume was 'diving' but he was told to leave the pitch to recieve treatment. One of the most bizzare decisions you'll see all season.
Foul on Hoeness was an obvious penalty, he was just far too quick for the full back and got taken out.
All in all fair result I think. Hopefully Ben is out of the team for Saturday, he looked even slower than usual and was probably at fault for at least their first goal.
4 points from 6 not a bad start. COYS.

Although it was a shame we didn't win, I think a similar result at Bath would be good as it's not a happy hunting ground for us..

Views on the key incidents?
Lucien dived to try and get a penalty with the first one.
Martin got away with one when taking down their forward after dallying on the ball.
The one on Hoeness is probably one of the most blatant penalties you are likely to see all season as you can tell from the reaction of the Wealdstone players.

ebsacfc wrote Hopefully Ben is out of the team for Saturday, he looked even slower than usual and was probably at fault for at least their first goal. , No he was,nt the forward scored a good well taken goal. If one of our attackers beats a defender we don't say he only beat him because the defender was,nt good enough, 90% of the time attackers are more skill full than defenders and often faster Ben gives us more than just a strong defence, he is up and down the pitch for every corner including the ones in the last minutes of a game and wins enough headers in the opposition half to justify this, Ebsacfc I feel your being a little harsh on maybe one player who gives the team more positives than negatives. Personally think the team need Ben.

Yeah may have been a bit harsh with my criticism of him as it looks to me that Herd was a bit slow of the mark for their first goal and not Ben. Although he could have done slightly better with the 2nd goal by shutting him down quickly.
I just feel as though to be more effective for us Ben needs to stick to what he is good at and not over play like he tends to some times. He was solid on Saturday but it looked like 2 games in 3 days took it's toll on him.

Clear cut penalty.
The ref looks weigh out of his depth.
Hopefully he will go back to kids football.
Won't be impressed if I see him at CP.
