There has been a leak of top secret kit related information, which I believe originated from somewhere in the vicinity of the club shop. ;D 'Saints Chat' is privileged to be able to exclusively reveal that the Saints will have a new home kit this season - I believe paid for by a group of supporters as happened last year with the away kit - and the design of the shirt will be royal blue and yellow stripes! In addition to this, I am reliably informed that there will be a new scarf on sale in the club shop in the near future. I understand that the new scarf will be a traditional looking blue and yellow bar scarf. So, start saving up your money to spend in the club shop come August.

When I was behind the Scoit Loache's goal in the 1st half, some Saints fans behind me were also discussing this new shirt, they also said it will be Blue with yellow stripes, apparently like a Chelsea kit from the 80's/90's I wouldn't mind a look at this kit soon.

Sounds really great - I didn't get last season's shirt as I tend to get them once every other year if they're nice enough - and this one certainly does sound so! Can't wait to get a look at it.

I think you're going to like this one COYS. I've just seen the design and, in my opinion, it looks awesome. I'll post up a picture in a minute once I've uploaded it.

Hmmm...... interesting. It doesn't look too bad, it will obviously look better with a sponsor and badge on it. Who are the kit makers?

Not sure about the kit makers Saint.
I like the design. Obviously, it will look better in the flesh so to speak as this is just an outline design.
It reminds me of another club's kit from recent years but I can't think who right now.

No, I meant a top flight or maybe European club who I have probably seen on television with a similar design.

It looks a bit like an old A.C. Milan kit.
Similar to this one:

I'm told that the design of the shirt shown above is a bit of an overemphasis of the design. The front of the shirt will look more like this catalogue photograph:

Obviously, the colours will be royal blue and yellow with royal trim to the neck and arms plus embroidered St. Albans City badge top right as you look at the shirt and printed Oaklands logo to the centre all as on previous shirts. The replica shirts will be short sleeve. The shorts will be royal and the socks yellow. The back of the shirt will be as shown on the design above.
I'm quite excited to see it now. It sounds as if it is going to be really great.

Someone has kindly forwarded some photographs of the sample royal/yellow shirt that the Saints will be wearing this season.

These photographs were taken inside so the colours will be slightly fuller than shown.
Also the sides of the shirt were turned over at the bottom in order to hold the shirt in place to get the photograph. To clarify, there will be five stripes at the bottom as shown in the black and white sample (and bouttifull's version).
The replicas and team shirts will all be short sleeve with the crest and logo as with the past shirts.
