Herne Bay match report of FA Cup replay v Hemel: "The second half was only 5 minutes old when the Bay were reduced to ten men , with Sam Hasler was sent off for kicking out at Oliver Thorne after he appeared to have been elbowed." Why am I not surprised? Thorne has never been any different and, in his 8 years in the game, has been through around 20 clubs. I remember him being sent off in a game we played at Arlesey about 3 or 4 years ago. How he stayed on the field as long as he did that day was unfathomable. One of the most bad tempered games I have ever had the 'pleasure' of witnessing.

Yes Thorne is a dirty and limited player.
Looks overweight and as if he has walked off the set of 'The Hills have Eyes.'
A half decent ref would have sent him packing. Unfortunately we had a clown as a ref that night. I hope that referee doesn't do any further games for us.

I am wondering why all the ire against our friends and neighbours down the road..... Their Chairman head butting one of our fans and their fans attacking elderly fans leaving their ground tends to help with that

Thorne got convicted of beating up a woman a few years ago. A real tough guy.
He really is the embodiment of everything Hemel stand for.
